I love this addition to the library! I spend a lot of time at the library and therefore I spent a lot of time here as well. The coffee is the best in Charleston. They have three locations, of course it’s the best! I frequent them all. I often have them make me their favorite drink or surprise me. I enjoy that. New way to try new things. The surprising thing is that the food options are really tasty. Everything I’ve had was delicious and filling but wasn’t heavy in my stomach. Just some good research fuel for me while I scour the books in the library for my next clue! I’m absolutely hooked on this place and I love all of the seasonal items. No improvements needed on a perfect place. Never change!

Flew into town this morning for a dentist appointment and had to stop by my favorite coffee shop! I was happy to see they still had the Turkish latte and ordered mine with steamed oat milk. The barista was super welcoming and had the latte ready for me in a timely manner.
The latte was delicious as expected. What I like about their approach is they don’t overly sweeten their drinks. If you’re looking for a more subtle sweetness where you can still taste the coffee, this is the place.
Each of the three Mea Cuppa locations have their own very unique settings but this one just takes the cake since it’s in a library! Quite with a plethora of reading material.

Awesome coffee nook located inside the library. Same amazing coffee and service as the other two locations in town, and a great place to get some work done with good lighting, limited background noise, and free WiFi.

Might be my new favorite coffee spot, had to leave a review! The last few times I’ve gone, the coffee has been phenomenal. Also can’t get enough of the banana chocolate chip muffins! The owner, Venu, really knows his stuff and is so friendly. If you want a laid back study/reading/work spot, this is a great option!

We are avid supporters of our local shops and restaurants. We went to the library to spend some time and got an espresso coffee. In a scale from 1-10, I have to give it a 1. It was extremely acidic and it’s aroma was disappointing.
