Aalia’s in OB is our go-to coffee spot in OB, full stop. Their cortados are dialed in; smooth, strong, zero bitterness! And the cardamom syrup is so, so good in it. Breakfast hits the sweet spot too: fresh, flavorful, and actually filling without being a brick. YOU NEED to try the hashbrowns.

It’s also prime for people-watching on a slow morning or posting up with the laptop when you need to get stuff done, just… maybe not both at the same time. Friendly crew, (Oscar is a star) and a vibe that feels like Oak Bluffs in a cup. If you’re coffee-picky, this is your place! I live in Edgartown and love going to Aalia’s!

I was looking for a breakfast spot on Martha’s Vineyard that had some gluten free options. We found Aalia’s through a Google search. I got the Lebanese Breakfast, which was mostly gluten free. It came with pita bread, which I gave to my husband. But the eggs were great. They came with a bed of arugula that was fresh and bright. The macha latte was beautifully crafted and delicious.

This is the restaurant that spiraled me into my purple sweet potato powder drink addiction. I’d never even heard of it until I came here. It’s one of my favorite beverages now to this day. I got the Lebanese breakfast and my wife got the wrap. The food is light and delicious. The hash browns are the best we’ve ever eaten, they’re crisp patties that are fried. So good. We sat outside and got a great view to the street. Overall just a peaceful place and great way to start your day at the Vineyard!

Food was not good at all. Bagels were hard as rock, tuna salad was less then an average (I bet you can do better yourself). Lox bagel was ok, but nothing crazy or fancy like this place want to look/be. Platter was the best meal but again, nothing I would come back for. We did breakfast menu only. Coffee was good though. Get drink only and go eat somewhere else. They have nice seating inside and outside covered patio. Right on the busy back street. You wont find calm place to enjoy drink/meal here. Prices are normal.

Fun vibe with great outdoor seating!
The egg sandwich was delish and the hash browns were very good and flavorful. Only complaint is the matcha could’ve been stronger. Tasted little water down. Overall great breakfast spot!

Great coffee but a major wait time. It’s crowded and small. If you sit, people will be breathing over you at your table. The coffee is worth the wait. The breakfast food looked amazing. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

We ate at AaliasPM in Oak Bluffs and it was AMAZING! We ordered almost the entire menu: Horiatiki Salad – feta, olives, onion, cucumber, tomato, oregano, Rkakat (Cheese Rolls) – halloumi, mozzarella, phyllo dough, honey, Artichokes in Tomato Broth – with preserved lemon and turmeric, Spicy Shrimp – on turnip puree with bread, Beef + Cauliflower Shawarmas – both delightful, served with fries, Moussaka – eggplant, lamb, and bechamel, Milk Caramel Peanut Butter Cake along with Cardamom Decaf Affogatos. Honestly it was just all so good!

Plus, delicious lavender lemonade mocktails and fun conversation, what more could we ask for?! All of the food above was DELICIOUSLY VIBRANT, FRESH, and a new offering on island that showcases cultural Lebanese and Israeli foods that we don’t get enough of on MVY.

I’m still dreaming about the cheese rolls and the moussaka, they were A++. Plus incredible service, ambiance was great, and just amazing all around!

This is a gem – charming, bright interior, amazing food and lattes, friendly service. I was looking for a breakfast spot with sit down service, which was hard to find on a Wednesday before Memorial Day, but this counter service place delivered (and then some). The portions are huge, very reasonably priced, and every component is thoughtful (chives in the eggs, homemade honey butter, etc). We had a cardamon latte, vanilla latte, the big breakfast, the brown sugar challah french toast, and a side of sausage. Everything was perfection – fluffy biscuit, crispy mashed potato hashbrown, and some of the best french toast I’ve ever had (fluffy and custardy inside with crispy edges did not even need syrup, though the honey butter made it sing even more!). Could easily share one entree between two people, but was so happy to be able to try so many things. The lattes were perfectly made (and worth the wait for such a well done drink). Go here, try as many things as you can, you won’t regret it.

The coffee flag draw us in but the buttery flavors will bring us back there. (They should write “beautiful buttery breakfast” or something on the flag too)
I tried the egg sandwich and my husband ate the Lebanese breakfast, with iced americanos. My egg sandwich was spectacular, I’m sure I will eat another one when we visit the island next time. The croissant was warm and buttery, the egg, the cheese and the extra bacon tasted really good; it was creamy and crunchy and buttery. The hash browns tasted really good too, it wasn’t bland like they usually are in other breakfast places, it was soft on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside. The Lebanese breakfast was nice too, it had some savory yoghurt and some minty dressing with sesame seeds, it had well rounded flavors. The coffee was on the fruity side of the coffee flavor profile-o meter, it tasted really good. I can only recommend this place!

Aalia’s is a new coffee/breakfast/Middle Eastern(yes you read that right!) restaurant located in the heart of Martha’s Vineyard. While there are options a plenty on the island, I highly recommend checking this eclectic place out. Here’s why….

Common breakfast fair is available, as well as some fresh and unique options like an açaí bowl, Lebanese Breakfast, and Egyptian Fried Eggs.
You can’t go wrong with the breakfast menu.

Serving at the same time is the lunch/dinner menu which is where this place really stands out. They offer three types of shawarma; beef, chicken, and vegetable. Also while supplies last they have an amazing North African chicken that is a dinner exclusive but goes quite fast.

If you are visiting the vineyard it is easy to get caught up in the crowded, long waiting line restaurants that are very good, but Aalia’s is a gem among so many options. They is plenty of indoor seating, as well as an outdoor area that is family and dog friendly. If you are in Martha’s Vineyard you DEFINITELY need to try this place. It will leave you craving more!
