The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and impressively fast. Their service added an extra layer of warmth to an already delightful outing.
The food was the real highlight. We ordered an array of dishes, starting with the Mahi-Mahi sandwich accompanied by garlic fries—both bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Mahi-Mahi plates and Hurricane Chicken fried noodles were equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. I also opted for the buttered chicken with salad, and it didn’t disappoint. Everything tasted homemade, light, and far from greasy, embodying comfort food at its best.
The portions were generous, and the prices surprisingly reasonable for the quality of food we enjoyed. It was clear that the restaurant takes great pride in delivering satisfying meals that feel both elevated and approachable.
Although we didn’t have a chance to try their desserts, they looked absolutely delicious, so we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Overall, Pokai Bay Restaurant is a gem that delivers fresh, tasty food, wonderful service, and unbeatable value. Highly recommended!

Tucked away in a cozy setting, Pokai Bay Restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere and a menu filled with island comfort food that doesn’t disappoint. From the moment you walk in, the homey decor and friendly service make you feel right at ease. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or a quick bite, the portions are generous, and the flavors are spot on.
Their Cinnamon French Toast, dusted with powdered sugar and served with syrup, is a standout for anyone with a sweet tooth. For something savory, the Hurricane Chicken Saimin is a must-try, featuring crispy fried chicken piled high on a bed of flavorful noodles with furikake and sesame seeds adding an umami punch. If you’re in the mood for a hearty meal, the BBQ Pulled Pork Plate, served with fluffy white rice and creamy mac salad, is rich, smoky, and satisfying. The Crinkle-Cut Fries with Mustard Mayo are a simple yet addictive side, while sweet treats like the Coconut Cake, covered in whipped frosting and coconut shavings, and the Caramel-Glazed Donuts round out the experience perfectly.
The overall quality, friendly service, and satisfying portions make this underrated local gem well worth the visits. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, Pokai Bay Restaurant delivers on taste, value, and the comforting flavors of home. You can sense the family pride, history, and love that’s put into the meals.
