The atmosphere is fantastic, the moment you step in the property you feel as though you’ve stepped into a storybook or a classic painting. The dim lighting brings a comfy feeling that pairs with cabiney location of the whole place. The service was great, although when my party first arrived there was no hostess to lead us to the table. But I can excuse that by the service inside the restaurant. They were overall very nice though very slow. The reason for this tremendously low rating is only for the food. The dishes were as you’d expect them, seasonal and in this case fall themed. Most of the dishes we ordered were drenched in oil with little to no sauce. I had placed a very simple instruction to my order, which was no mashed potatoes and extra vegetables instead . They did not fulfill that request and instead I had to ask them again to which they lazily brought a small plate of extra vegetables next to my order. They also didn’t have any nonalcoholic drinks for my children and no coffee for my party after their meal. I’d suggest if you have any people in party that don’t drink or are not drinking, be wary that they only serve water if alcohol is not what you’re thinking for that day.

We celebrated our 38th anniversary with dinner at Endposts and were so happy we were fortunate to sit at a table with Hadley as our server. She was so sweet and bubbly as well as very helpful and knowledgeable on the menu choices. Both the scallops risotto and the filet we enjoyed were outstanding, but the lemoncello cake was to die for. Highly recommend!

To be clear, as I understand it, this is a review about the restaurant only. (The wine gets five stars – great taste and fantastic setting.)

Every time I’ve dined here, the food and service has been wonderful. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because I’m frustrated. In a series of menu changes some amazing dishes have disappeared. I would love to be able to count on dishes I have enjoyed previously being there on my return – to enjoy again; alas, that has not been the case. But that is no reason to pass up this jewel.

My daughters visited from out of town and chose to go to this place. I don’t drink but joined them as they enjoyed a seven course wine tasting. Very nice place. Good service

Wine and food was great, although a bit pricey. We had hiked on Pilot Mountain earlier that day with some other families from our scout pack and wanted to go someplace for lunch that was pretty close and unique. We got there and there was limited parking in the non-member section so we parked in the member section without anyone hassling. We sat outside with a view of pilot mountain at a shaded picnic table. We weren’t dressed up and had our 1st and 2nd grader with us which my wife was nervous about at first. It turned out great. A glass of wine and a sangria for the wife and the food was out quite quickly! I had the tacos and they were pretty good, my wife had the steak and cheese, it was great! My son had a special – Hawaiian chicken sliders, that was the best, and the little one had a BLT, hold the T. That last one I didn’t try, but it was on some nice artisan bread and looked pretty good. We also had spinach & artichoke dip appetizer (that ended up coming out with the food) and it was ok. My only real concern was the price. . .A hundred bucks before tip. . .but all and all it was good and I would do it again. I wanted to buy a bottle of wine to take home and it was offered at the full restaurant price, so I skipped it.
