The birria tacos weren’t bad tacos per se, but they definitely were short of being birria other than the sauce on the side. They tasted good, but not the color I would expect from this dish. All the sauces were delicious

This has been our local taqueria for years and it’s so great! Way better than the overpriced El Travieso that was there before.
Super affordable (especially on Taco Tuesdays) for a wide range of proteins in most of their dishes (tacos, burritos, bowls, tortas). Don’t sleep on those tortas! so good. Plus a happy hour with margaritas!
Only issue I’ve had is that their various online ordering sites (grubhub etc) are not entirely in synch with the current restaurant menu, so some things (eg tortas) are not easy to order as takeout/delivery without calling them.

Delicious food and very nice people. This is a GREAT hidden neighborhood gem. You cant go wrong with the quesabirria! Also when the weather is nice they have a shaded patio for enjoying a margarita.

I’ve tried a lot of Mexican restaurants around the Twin Cities, and this one really holds its own. Solid menu with daily specials and great atmosphere/friendly staff. Highly recommend the cachete (beef cheek) as a protein, and the alambre is fantastic. This place has quickly made it into my short list of regular restaurants!

We love this place! The burritos are deliciously gooey. The salsas hit. It’s a great deal for the money – burrito comes with some chips, the quesadillas comes with rice and beans. HUGE fan and so glad they’re in the neighborhood.

I go here for lunch every week or two. I mostly stick to the tortas and tacos and have been happy every time. The milanesa torta today was especially solid.
It gets pretty busy at lunch but there are always tables available (especially on the nice covered patio). The lunch crowd also seems to stick to the tacos or alambres; I’ll have to try to the latter at some point. Service is always friendly and fast.
Reading other reviews, there seem to be a lot of complaints about the birria tacos. Can’t speak to those as it’s not really my thing, but I think you’ll be happy with anything else.

I hit this place every few weeks for pickup on my way home from work. My favorite are the chicken enchiladas with extra beans on the side. The carnitas platter is my second go to. Always fresh, delicious, and hot! Festive atmosphere and pricing is decent with what you receive. 5 stars!

I had the mole enchiladas platter and it was AMAZING. I’m always hesitant to get mole Anywhere but I am glad I did. It was delicious and elevated. Enchiladas has a lot of chicken inside and the rice and beans were tasty. Also had the churros, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the center. Will definitely come back even just for the mole! I can’t tell you his hard is to find good mole in Minnesota.
