Great food and attentive service. Sorry I forgot to post pictures. The salsa they serve you with the complimentary chips had me at first bite. After tasting the salsa amd chip I couldn’t wait to taste my enchiladas . The red sauce is very good. The beans and rice were cooked to perfection. Definitely a restaurant I was visit again when I’m in Elwood. Thank you guys for the great food and service.

Our go to for Mexican. The chicken and the skirt steak are so unbelievably good! I love their chips and salsa, its different salsa but its so good!! And the waitresses are always so nice and pleasant! Make sure to get a large horchata, its some of the best I’ve ever had!

I ordered a steak quesadilla and a beer. The quesadilla was really good, and they served it within just a few minutes. I came on a Wednesday evening around 7:30 PM — the place was empty, I was the only customer. Pleasant background music played, and the staff was friendly. The salsa that came with the chips wasn’t really my thing, but everything else was great. Thanks for the good experience.

Was a little pricey but very good and worth it. I use to come here when they first opened up and my girlfriend and I loved eating there but after some time it wasn’t as good and I think they got new workers. But just recently I wanted to try again on my lunch break since I’m 5 minutes away and wow huge difference. I mean there torta is huge and they put a hefty amount of meat and all your sides so even though it was over $20 for just a torta and a horchata it was still fire and worth it. I will definitely continue to eat there and recommend anyone to try there food.

The Barbacco is fantastic we bought it by the pound along with the carnites also good I don’t believe they have a liquor license yet but if you come on the weekend you can order by the pound 1lb of barbacoa will feed 2 people no problem and @ just under 10.00 what a steal!!! It was definitely my favorite that we got

Food is pretty good , only downside is the burritos dont have enough meat in them and kind of on the smaller side but taste is there when its fresh! I also got a carne asada dinner which actually was really good! Margaritas can use some work and be a little stronger and less watered down but the modelo was cold haha

Los Cántaros is just 20 mins away from the west side of joliet & 10 mins away from downtown Joliet. Big parking lot!!
They don’t have their liquor license YET but don’t let that stop you from enjoying delicious authentic Mexican food with great sazón The owners are so nice! They just opened 5 months ago

The big taco is from the chorizo & cheese dip & of course I added the whole Chile toreado
Horchata lovers… they have one of the best horchatas!! You can tell is actual rice and made the authentic way!

I had a torta dinner, which was $17 if I’m not mistaken, and the torta itself was ok But I was very disappointed in the portion of rice and beans. I’m not even trying to exaggerate when I say that I could literally scoop the entire portion of beans with my one Spoonful and the same could be said for my rice I don’t think $17 for a dinner Was worth it since I barely had any rice and beans and I should’ve just got a torta for cheaper. Inside was nice the people were friendly. I just didn’t like the very small portion of rice and beans I received.
