Great lunch. Had a half wagyu steak sandwich and salad. Perfect for a light lunch. They also had other more substantial dishes if you wanted more. Really enjoyed this meal!

If there were 10 stars for food I would give them all 10! The food is incredible, the team is so kind and welcoming and the wine selection and their label Saint K is fantastic! Excited to have such a great spot in the market walk. Can’t recommend enough.

Amy makes amazing dishes and their wines are really good. This Clams Conserva dish was so delicious and unique! Absolutely a must try. Hopefully she will make it again. It’s currently a Chef’s special.

The food here is phenomenal. The cheese board included an exceptional peach and plum jam made in-house! Everything was seasoned particularly well. We enjoyed the heirloom tomatoes, pork cheek, and the wagyu steak. Their own wines are also quite interesting (and good) — we really liked the jester (carbonic grenache) and the Flower Bomb (malvasia bianca).

I recently had a wonderful dinner at Gravesend with friends, where we took seats right at the counter a great spot for seeing the action. We enjoyed an excellent meal that included a wonderful Moroccan flatbread, a perfectly executed Wagyu steak sandwich, and a light, refreshing Shaved Fennel and Apple salad, all complemented by expertly paired wines. Everything here is elevated cuisine; the dishes are complex, thoughtfully prepared, and extremely flavorful.
Beyond the standard menu, I highly recommend their Winemaker Dinners. They draw a fantastic crowd, mixing visitors to the area with local residents, all turning up to meet the winemaker and enjoy a curated flight of wines. It’s a lively, communal event that perfectly captures the spirit of Paso Robles wine country.
I recommend Gravesend without any hesitation. It’s an essential stop for anyone seeking high-quality food, superb wines, and memorable experiences in Paso Robles.

An absolute gem in Paso! Chef Amy creates incredible, seasonal dishes that are both creative and beautifully balanced and always perfectly paired with fantastic wines. I love the versatility here: whether I’m stopping in for a quick, healthy lunch or settling in for a gourmet date night, Gravesend never misses. Every dish bursts with flavor and attention to detail. Plus, the counter seating adds such a fun, welcoming vibe – I seem to leave every time having met someone new!

Stopped at Gravesend for lunch on the way to SoCal. Nice family run wine bar and eatery in a communal space with other businesses. Good wine selections with small indoor space for dining. Food was excellent; fresh and seasonal. Would recommend as a great rest stop along Hwy 101.

Fantastic food. We got almost everything on the menu and shared. Each dish was a winner. Highlights included the wagyu beef sandwich and the persimmon ricotta spread. Cheese plate was great and the flatbread was also delicious. Will definitely be coming back! The man serving us was also very warm and welcoming.

Gravesend is a standout wine bar with one of the best by-the-glass selections in town. Chef Amy’s food is the real surprise—creative, balanced, and far better than you’d expect from a small space. The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, making it an easy choice for a great glass of wine and an excellent snack or meal.
