First time here. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich and my daughter got the chicken tender sandwich combos, It was so good! The chicken is thick and juicy, fries had great seasoning, waffles were so tasty!!! I can’t say anything negative at all. Try the honey sauce it was amazing. The hot sauce was hot and delicious!! Definitely will be back! 5 star

First time visiting and we were really pleasantly surprised! The comment walking out the door was “wow that was really enjoyable.”
We tried their combo #1 sandwich and fries, spice level hot, their 4pc leg and thigh, coleslaw, and they threw in a jalapeno Mac n cheese and a waffle to try.
Sandwich was HUGE. Had two really large tenders inside, and the level 3 spice was not too terrible, enough to make you sweat slightly but not burn unpleasantly.
Crinkle fries looked dark but were crispy on the outside and potato-y on the inside and well seasoned.
Spicy fried chicken leg/thigh batter was reminiscent of how a hush puppy might look – smooth and dark instead of with that panko textured crust. Not typical, but still good. Meat was tender and juicy and the spice level was mild.
Cole slaw was perfect. Even though it looked creamy, it was light and refreshing, tasted really clean and was a great pairing for the heavier fried chicken.
Mac n cheese sauce was kind of like a nacho cheese style, which I actually prefer since it doesn’t feel so overwhelmingly cheesy after a few bites.
The waffle was more cakey in texture, kind of like a really moist cake donut/biscuit. Taste was good, not too sweet.
The honey BBQ sauce was my preferred sauce for the chicken.
Overall really great experience and will definitely be back.
We have had Dave’s and Habibi’s hot chicken as a comparison, and I found Al’s to be most memorable and enjoyable.
Also, forgot to get his name but the guy who took our order was really friendly, helpful, and welcoming, even though we walked in 20min before closing.

Decided to order in from Al’s hot chicken and we got the sliders and the chicken and waffles. I can’t speak to the ambience of the restaurant because it was delivery. I also can’t speak to the servers as well.
I will say the chicken was hot and delicious. The waffle was outstanding. You could taste the maple and it had pockets of pearl sugar, oh so good.
The sliders tasted like they were on a brioche bun, the chicken on the sliders were delicious as well. I do wish there was a little more sauce on the sliders.
My complaint about the delivery was the fries…. They tasted old and under season that was really disappointing. I think the next time I’ll go into the restaurant and get my food fresh, but I will give them another try…. you should try them too.

I just had Al’s for the first time. I just met the new owner of this location and he’s so cool as tomorrow will be hid official day. He recommended #2 2 sliders with fries. It was so good! The sauses they have are great and the chicken is perfect! If highly recommend this place. The mac and cheese is good and has a good kick of taste at the end!

Overall, excellent service and food. We were greeted by the friendly staff right when we walked in. We didn’t really know what to order, but the owner was so kind and patient and he explained to us all the different options. We decided on a few of the 2 waffles 2 strips combo, the 3 strips and fries combo (not pictured) and the loaded Mac and cheese. We chose to get the “hot” spice level, and it was spicy, delicious, but not overbearing. The waffles were divine, so sweet, fluffy and crispy, and the Mac and cheese was so good too! The vibe was great and the food even better. Hot, super fresh and yummy. As someone with a picky family, they very much enjoyed the food. Even though we had a big order, they were super patient with us and kept us updated on the status of our order. We didn’t mind at all since everything was made fresh. Absolutely will be back for more.

Great flavor but your getting mostly bread, not enough chicken. I took a bite and right and I’m like wait why is this so fluffy? Because these are normal size buns with tiny little pieces of chicken. I literally combined my 2 sandwiches in to one.threw away the bread on the other. I’m used to Dave’s hot chicken, they give more chicken. It doesn’t make sense that their price point is the same as Dave’s but you get half the amount of Chicken, I hate give low ratings but this I had to do.

One of the best Halal crispy chicken restaurants in the town. The slider combo 2 was just outclass. Need to work a bit on the 4 chicken piece meal, felt the coating could have been better considering the overall quality of the food. Would definitely recommend and come back.

I was hesitant to try Al’s Hot Chicken at first, but I’m so glad I did! It completely blew me away — way better than Dave’s Hot Chicken in my opinion. Theses cheeses frys were bomb, the chicken was juicy, and the spice level was just right. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Definitely a 10 out of 10. I’ll be coming back for sure! Customer service was 10 out of 10 as well

This place is awesome! The chicken sandwich is huge! The spice is fantastic with a perfect combo of spice and flavor. I got to try their new bun and I really liked it! Would definitely come check it out if you like hot chicken. Also fries were seasoned perfectly.
