A group of 9 girls came in on a Saturdsy unannounced. The bartender was also the waitress and she was amazing! It is somewhat a small space, the patrons hopped up to put tables together for us. Very friendly. Outstanding reasonable prices too!!

I wish I could give service 6 stars! About a month ago we had been working all evening and got there right after the kitchen closed. The cook agreed to fire back up just for 3 of us, he knew we had no other dining options that time of night. That’s far above and beyond service!

Medieval dremr
Fried pork tenderloin sandwich was unseasoned and tasteless with a refrigerator cold bun. The fried chicken gizzards were very tough. Service is good though.

My wife wanted to go there for her birthday. When we got there it was really smoky. I’m not sure if they had an issue in the kitchen or not, but our eyes were watering before long. It did clear up some before the end of our visit. It was very dark inside too. I had a double bacon cheeseburger with cheesy fries. My wife had the bacon wrapped sirloin filet special. She thought her meal was fabulous. My burger was fine, but nothing to get excited about. I expected cheesy fries to be fries smothered in cheese. What I got was a big batch of fries with a little container of cheese on the side. Not what I expected. All in all an average bar food experience for me. My wife would probably rate it higher.

The furniture could use a bit more maintenance. Chairs & table wobbled. Waitress was attentive and prompt. Food was good. It’s Midwest bar food, but it’s well made. Highly recommend the curly fries.
