Austos Family Italian is fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted great and homemade. The people were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. A wonderful meal with that small town feel. Highly recommend!

I’m in town visiting family in the area and found this hidden gem! The food was good and the family who owns and operates the place makes it worth the stop! Not only are they great at service and taking care of their customers, but they make you feel a little like family. We’ve been on the road most of the week and wanted something different besides burgers and fast food, this hit the spot perfectly. I had the Italian Beef Sammy and my daughter had the “Fumble” sandwich with is a spaghetti stuffed Italian bread which was amazing (I had to try some for “science”) too. Absolutely delicious and when we are back in town this will be on our stop list for sure!

I’ll start out by saying, I’m not a really big Pizza fan. However… I ordered the “off-menu” Chicago deep dish. It was OFF THE CHAIN! Fuhgeddaboudit!
These guys are the real deal. The marinara was amazing. The Italian sausage was incredible. I was in town visiting family. We fed everyone with the large. And, we have some left over. Great value. I’m a total fan! Delivery or takeout only.

We order WAY more often than we should, but it is SO good!!!!! Everything, the pizza, the sandwiches, you can’t go wrong!
We ordered again tonight and they were awesome as usual! We had a a little hiccup but they were very fast and happy to fix it. We had a blast playing fuzball while we waited. Our favorite place for pizza, spaghetti, and Italian Beef! There is so much more on the menu we can’t wait to try.

“Absolutely amazing pizza! The crust was perfectly crispy, toppings were fresh, and the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!” And if you requests for special they will do it for you I had regular crust and stuff crust together and was so delicious thanks to austos.

A generally takeout restaurant serving pizza, Chicago style food, ect. We ordered a large pizza and cheese bread. The cheese bread was very tasty. The pizza had fresh sausage and a bit thicker crust. The sauce was sweet and a good amount of cheese.The staff was nice and there were a few tables to eat at but no table service. The service took less than 20 minutes. Sweet!

First time I went there, had the spaghetti in a bowl it had cheese with a generous amount of marinara sauce
Just went there 1 hour before they closed, they said 30 minutes.
I arrived in 30 minutes, get home food is so cold and the spaghetti had little to no marinara sauce in it… called back immediately they closed in about 15 mins from when I called…. No answer.
Not going back here again, what a joke.
Ordered the Large Pizza Special and it was 8.99 and Spaghetti and ended up being $22 for something I ended up feeding to my 3 dogs.
Pizza seemed like it’s been sitting there for hours, how does a pizza look so solidified after arriving on time, unbelievable.

If I could “Opt in” for 0 stars I would… I almost have to upload some pictures I am in disbelief.

My wife and I had just crossed the swing bridge into Ft. Madison, Iowa and this little Ma/Pa restaurant named Austos, which is a nod to a son of theirs was just across the intersection and on the left. We were hungry, so we stopped. This is a great place for food!!! We are less into franchises and more into this type of eatery! We ordered some chicken and an Austos pizza in pan crust. We loved the chicken with garlic butter sauce and the cheesy fries, that we wolfed it down and when the pizza came, dug into that when we finally got to the point that we NEED to make a great review for this place!!! I got a picture of part of the pizza, sadly the first dish didn’t last long enough. We found a new favorite! It was all hand made from great recipes and a lot of experience from this couple/cooks. We will stop next time we come through! I can’t wait to try more! I’ll try to get a picture posted.

The Gyro platter is a goddang amazing meal! The meat is incredible and the toppings make it feel authentic as well as delicious! Pizzas are amazing and the service is top notch! I just found my favorite place in FM to eat, hands down!
