Passing through and made a stop for lunch. Lots of options from salads, wraps, pizza, appetizers, burgers and sandwiches. Freshly mixed tasty Bloody Mary’s.River was on the dry side but it was a thick patty. Great prices, friendly service.

Upon walking in, I was pleasantly surprised — it’s a tavern, after all, but it was clean, inviting, and had a nice atmosphere.
Unfortunately, that first impression didn’t last. While I was there, I witnessed a woman (possibly the manager or owner) speak disrespectfully to a kitchen employee who had apparently asked to clock out. Her exact words were, “What if someone orders a hamburger in the next minute?”
As someone who’s worked in restaurants and bars, I know there’s a basic rule in customer service: you don’t talk down to your employees, especially in front of customers. It creates an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment. There was another staff member still working in the kitchen, so the situation didn’t even call for that kind of response.
I’m new to this community and was really hoping to find a place I could support — but this left a bad taste.
Do better. Be better.

Wow! I was here 4 days ago and my boyfriend and I are thinking about the sandwiches we had! They were fantastic, even left over. I forgot to take photos, but I got a chicken strip melt and he got what seemed to be a Ruben but with chicken strip as well. We both loved the food. We went at a very dead time so service was great and quick. The place seems to be nearly remodeled and is quite clean and nice. Price was higher than I anticipated for a small town bar/restaurant, but, worth it. We will be going back.

Awesome place to stop, just off the highway! We stopped for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. A lot of places are closed on Mondays so the fact that it was open was a bonus. Great wait staff, good food, nice drink selection!

Cute little bar and grill. We thought we’d give the local establishment a try. Service was good but the the food was not good at all. My western burger was so dark and over done it makes me think it wasn’t fresh and the bun was one of the cheap ones from a grocery store and one that I would put in bread pudding or feed the birds with, hard around the edges. Hubby had a hamburger steak that was so over cooked that he had trouble cutting it. We both had onion “Petals” a few but not a large amount on either plate. Together our bill was $42 but wait, if we used our debit card, we got charged $2 more! Plates were fairly large and looked kind of empty with a few onion petals and a very small hamburger and a couple of pickles. Same with the hamburger steak. Would never go back. Way to expensive for the quality of food.

Hot honey sauce is great on wings. 4 star bc I ordered bone in and got boneless breaded breast pieces. They were amazing. Fries were bland could use some creole or all purpose seasoning. Overall good food!

I had lunch here while visiting Clara City for business. The House Honey Grilled Chicken Wrap and House Chips were wonderful! The wrap was a generous portion and very tasty, and the chips were super fresh… still warm when they were served 🙂 I was impressed with the quality and would absolutely go back.

My last visit I had the haberger steak which was pretty burnt, young girl server barley returned to our table to replenish my beer. I’ll go again as there normally very good.
I’ll pin it down as an off day, but when I dump $130 on a meal I expect better.

Off Center has a great menu and friendly staff. I really enjoy their daily specials but my go to is the Philly steak wrap with the homemade potato chips. Very nice place to go for a drink too.
