I had the Somali bowl with steak, rice and various veggies. It was recommended to try this local spot while in the area on business travel and I am really glad I gave it a try. The food was absolutely delicious. All three of the folks in my party got one of the bowls. The meat was seasoned and full of flavor, food was prepared fresh, and at the expected temperature for each item. The staff was very nice as well. The location does not have a large indoor seating (hence the 4 stars for atmosphere) area but even if u need to eat elsewhere it is DEFINATELY worth a try. Really hoping I can find something similar near where I live.

This is a must stop. Very clean, great staff, and warm ambiance. Best of both worlds food and desserts. The crepes are made to order and everything is authentic made from scratch. The portion sizes are large and there is something for everyone here. Plenty of free parking and family friendly. The bowls are incredible and you have to try the fresh mango drink.

Randomly checked this place out while in the area and was very happy I did. I ordered the chicken bowl which was full of beautifully spiced and stewed chicken along with a light and fluffy and also wonderful tasting biriyani and then topped with as many veggies as they can get on there. The sauces were all very tasty but I went with the garlic sauce and then some of the hot sauce on the side. Hot sauce has just the right amount of heat to build through the meal and leave a little sweat under the eye by the time you’re done. We also got a couple of samosas that were perfectly crispy and fresh and the spices meat took me straight back to my days living in the middle east. Heads up, while there was a table here it did seem to be mainly takeout. Thanks to the wonderful folks of Anab’s Kitchen for sharing a bit of the Somali flavor with us here in Indy!

Oh wow, this food is AMAZING and the employee, was amazing. We had a lot of questions and she answered them with a lot of knowledge and kindness. We got a steak bowl and a wrap combo. The bowl was amazing, we got all the toppings and both sauces, highly recommend. The chicken wrap was spicy and full of flavor. Can’t recomend enough!

We wanted to have something light and different. We don’t regret coming to this restaurant. Is small, cozy, and nice. We asked if we could eat in, and they said yes, but we decided to eat in the car.

What an experience!!!. Food was presented beautifully, the smell was amazing, and the flavor was the best part. Well balanced, we couldn’t stop eating bite after bite…We did enjoy our meal and is our new favorite spot when visiting Indy.

The service was amazing, very kind, helpful, and patient, while we asked questions and decided what to eat.

100% recommended

Oh my goodness, what a delicious meal. The Beef Suuqar blew my mind – so much flavor. Loaded chicken fries were lovely. And the samosas might be the best I’ve ever had – excellent pastry and tasty dipping sauce. My kids gobbled down the chocolate fruit crepe before I could try it.

I recently tried Anab’s Kitchen, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The food was incredibly fresh, healthy, and delicious. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken, avocado, fresh greens, and a savory dressing that perfectly complemented the entire dish. The portion was generous, and every bite was packed with flavor and nutrients.

What I loved most was the cleanliness of the meal — everything was well-prepared, and the ingredients tasted vibrant and high-quality. The avocado was fresh, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were crisp. It’s clear that Anab’s Kitchen takes pride in both the healthiness and the presentation of their dishes.

I highly recommend Anab’s Kitchen if you’re looking for a tasty, healthy meal that doesn’t compromise on flavor. It’s my new go-to spot for clean eating!

Food was exceptional. Staff was friendly. Ordered the chicken and beef samosa and the spice and flaky crust was a hit. Also got the chicken bowl and the pickles set it off. The last and final item we got was the suqaar and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place and will be returning as this was also my first time trying Somalia food!!
