We were so excited to stop by here and try out the pizza! We did the garlic cheese pizza. It would have been nice if the garlic had not been in huge clumps but rather spread out however the pizza was still delicious. I had a raspberry seltzer which sadly was super beer like ( I don’t care for beer so this is more about me). They do have Carbliss which I didn’t realize until I got another drink. They had live music on the Saturday night we went which was a great addition! Give it a try, they have a great Outdoor seating area and things for even the kids to do!

After a not so great experience awhile back, decided to give it another shot. Pleasantly surprised at all the choices, even for a non beer drinker (which is really nice), amazing atmosphere. The inside is warm, welcoming and so inviting. Was excited to try the pretzel and cheese and also ordered a pizza. Cheese sauce was so runny that it barely stuck to the pretzel. No flavor to it. Pretzel was soft and tasty though. Pizza was so burnt that it was barely edible. Could only scrape the topping off. I understand they’re “wood-fired” but this was way over done. Nothing compared to some of these other pictures posted. We wanted so bad for this visit to be better than the last.

When my family rolled into town from a long day on the road we weren’t sure where to go to eat. All we knew was that we wanted to eat quickly. We were told ABC Brewing was able to prepare pizza quickly, But I had no idea how quickly! I think we spent more time debating what kind of pizza to get then driving down to pick it up. The estimate was 20 minutes, we were there in 10. It was ready before we arrived.
Of course, since there was an amazing selection of local brews, we were obligated to sit and sip a pint before we could go anywhere. There was a flip card deck at every table that told the stories behind each individual beer. It was a lot of fun to read all of the local lore while we were enjoying the flavors that had inspired them.
The pizza was absolutely spectacular. When I first opened the box, I wondered if it was going to be enough, but then I found out how very filling the pizza was. There was plenty of cheese and generous toppings. Everything was flavored to perfection, and the crust was absolutely flawless.

Went here with the family during CoVid so cant comment on service as it was all through windows – normal, no big deal. However we did get beers and we did get pizzas. We will start with the food which was pretty good. Pizzas are a bit expensive e for what you get considering that as with traditional italian style the crust is ridiculously disproportionate from the pizza. However the toppings were good and the balsamic on the veggie was amazing. They should offer a cup of dipping sauce for the crust for an extra buck and that would have made them more money and me happier. We had the Veggie, Garlic Cheese, pepperoni and sausage, Pepperoni and the special which was a play on Tiki Masala. When ordering, we were told it was a “Chicken Marsala” pizza which definitely cause some confusion but the curry sauce was light and good and overall good pizzas.
The beer: we had a flight and tried the Triple A IPA, the Session, the Cream Ale and the Summer Grapefruit one… not one was especially good although the cream ale with blueberry notes was the best of all. The session was more a Saison than anything and we felt the IPA was rough – too heavy on the start and smooth finish with not a very good aftertaste on the palette. At the end I tried a snifter of the Porter which turned out to be the best beer of all of them, but is not sweet as a porter should be and drinks more like a stout with notes of coffee.
At the end, it turned out that there was a billing issue whereas 2 pizzas and an extra beer got added onto my tab. Apparently the owners name is also Justin, and he had told a different client to put their food and drinks on his tab… which then they put onto mine. Understandable mistake and they took care of it so not a deal breaker – just a bit frustrating.
Overall okay experience, good food, mediocre beers. Would go again maybe, depends on if changes made to both the beers and the sauce/pizza issue.

Great pizza and restaurant environment. Fun games for our boys to play. The restaurant had an event where collector cars where at restaurant. Second year in a row eating here while vacationing at Woodlawn Resort. We will definitely continue eating here every time we are in the area! Not just a brewery, very serious wood fired pizza! Maybe rebrand to ABC Brewing & Pizza!?!

The Battle Lake location has far more convenient hours than the Ashby location. They have some great pieces of history here too, old sleds, lots of old pictures of historic breweries in the area… they only had a few beers on tap, but everything was available in a can, or to go. Prices were reasonable, $5 for a pint, $14 for 4 pack to go. It seemed like the bartender new everyone in there on my visit.

We stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Great venue with a nice selection of brews. Beer flights were a great way to sane through their lineup. Covered patio and tables with umbrellas for shade. Excellent pizzas and friendly, helpful staff

If you like pizza and craft beer, this is a great spot. They have bocce ball, cornhole, and ladder ball outside along with some nice patio seating. Plenty of room inside too if the weather isn’t nice. Pizza is $15-$20.

It took over 1.5 hours to get pizza. To get a drink, you had to wait in like for 20 minutes because at the 2 checkout points, they had 2 employees together that would rather sit and talk and serve one person versus serving multiple people. The employees also moved like they were sloths. The building is great, had live music, fun atmosphere. Terrible terrible service and wait time for sub par pizza. Will never come here again.
