Had to get a bite since had not eaten. Ordered a Whopper jr. The cashier goes on and makes it with cheese. I gave him $2.00 in nickles (a roll), and a $1.00 bill. He says to me “nobody has ever payed with this before”. I’m like what? A roll of nickles? Says yeah, I’m going to have to count them now. Okay. I assure him it adds up and left the $0.19 “just in case” to ease his mind. He was still counting it when I walked out. Didn’t eat but about 1/4 of the sandwich. Didn’t even give it to my Staffy. Oh well, the water was decent.

The wife and I were traveling home from SC to Tn and were really craving a burger. We found this Burger King near Murphy NC. It was around 12:45 pm on December 18, 2025, the drive thru was about 6 cars deep so we went in. We stood there number 1 in line to be waited on and waited for 10 minutes with nobody ever waiting on us. The lady behind the counter just a cashier said it would be a few minutes. The manager was barking orders at employees and they seem to be servicing only drive thru customers. While I waited two other customers behind me left the line and the building. After a few more minutes we left as well. Service to indoor customers was nonexistent and the manager needs some managing skills. I won’t be back. I took my business to Bojangles.

I rarely eat fast food, but stopped into this BK in Murphy. I was greeted by a super nice senior lady for my order. She was operating the register with 1 hand as her arm was in a cast-sling. Food came right out as ordered. Very clean dining room. Rock hard seating, so you wont be comfortable and stay long. Other BKs have nasty dirty interiors…employees with green hair and earrings in their tounges & lips and eyebrows. Whatta U want?
My advice, hire more seniors like the nice lady here today. Refreshing!

I’ve came here a few times, and there has never been anything close to any customer service here, rude employees, No smiles, no thank yous, just rude and not qualified. BUT I was starving and came through drive through today and the person who took my order was SOO nice, very polite, his name is Jason. If he’s getting paid the same as other employees he needs a raise, those are the kind of people we need handling our food. Thank you Jason for being nice to me and my dog through the drive through. I hope your there the next time I come through 🙂

Absolutely the worst service I’ve encountered in a “Fast food” chain. If you go to this location, plan on them being quick to get your money and then tell you to pull forward and they will bring it out to you. As I sat there in confusion as to why I needed to pull forward (no one behind me) this lady whom I think was the manager named Crystal, was the rudest person. She yells through the window “You can pull forward! There’s people behind you” i look in my rear view still no one. But I pull forward because I’m not going to cause it to escalate. You’d think waiting for food to be brought out that it’d be hot, you’d be wrong. The burgers were like warm, the fries were decent temp, however not salted… if you want fast food, and them to talk to you like a human being, this isn’t the place for you.
