This is my second time visiting Eastern Garden, and once again they deliver high quality (and quantity), delicious Chinese takeout. I ordered the BBQ spare ribs and the Szechuan chicken dish. The portion for the chicken was massive and I was able to split it into 2 meals. The flavor of the sauce was phenomenal, and you will absolutely be satisfied with your meal. In the past I had chicken skewers and egg drop soup, both excellent. With the convenient location and great food, I will be back soon!

Tonight we had an incredible experience. Our food tastes incredible. We loved the general tso chicken, chicken lo mien, egg rolls, and chicken fried rice.

The food it hot and fresh, you can tell it was made to order and the quantity and quality is impressive for the price! We got one combo and a side and it comfortably fed two people.
Super nice and helpful service, there’s a small tv in the corner playing gentle calming music and nature, which I definitely prefer to TVs playing the news or something else.
They also offer both Coke and Pepsi in cans which is a plus.
And the speed is fairly good for the food being made fresh to order!

I ordered pepper steak.. literally the worst food I’ve ever had. One bite of the steak and it taste spoil.. in addition, it didn’t taste like steak. The rice also wasn’t the best. The egg roll also was not good. Almost $14 down the drain.

Just left Eastern Garden – we live too far away for takeout so we stayed and ate in at one of the casual tables inside. The food was DELICIOUS!!! We ordered the following:
Crab Rangoon appetizer – super yummy! A little different than usual because the filling was extra creamy but we enjoyed them very much.
Szechuan chicken combo – came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken had a good amount of heat, but if you prefer *really* spicy you can ask for that. The flavor was excellent and I liked the level of heat that was on mine. I was prepared to add hot sauce and didn’t have to. The egg roll was huge, too. Not one of those tiny ones. The portion was huge for the price and we have leftovers.
House Lo Mein – had pork, shrimp, and chicken. The noodles were perfect as you would expect for that dish. Flavor was great.
The large size will definitely feed two people. So we have leftovers of this as well.
Everything was extremely fresh.
This is hands down the best NY-style Chinese takeaway place in Oviedo! Can’t wait to go back and try some additional things.
The staff there this evening (perhaps owners) were also very lovely. Giving this a definite 5-Stars for the restaurant category they are in!!

I just came to order my food today and not the first time I had the worst customer service ever at this restaurant. Very bad experience I had. I never in any restaurant got treated this way. I do not recommend this place any customer. There is this young guy and the register every times I arrived he is very nasty attitude. Please remove him from restaurant who ever the owner is. . I will never will go again there. Once again I don’t recommend any customer to this restaurant to anyone. I hope the management read this note.

i thought I found my new favorite Chinese take out. I have ordered from here many times. Last night I ordered 3 lo mein combo platters and we all agreed it was awful. It tasted like it was reheated in old oil or something. It tasted awful and the noodles were overcooked. Mayb

First time getting food from this place. Food was mediocre. Never had clumpy sticky fried rice before until now. Not much flavor. The General Tso chicken had a super thick sauce that was almost like gelatin like, and chicken tasted like it had been sitting under the heating lamp a long time. The Sichuan beef (supposed to be a spicy dish) wasn’t spicy, and mostly all vegetables with very little beef with not much flavor. However, the hot and soup was ok. I didn’t take pictures because the meal was so disappointing.

This is by far the best Chinese food I’ve had in Orlando. No other place has this type of egg roll. I’m impressed with the quality and the portion size. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the chicken broccoli. This is the kind of food that you CAN’T STOP EATING. Trust me, try this place for the right taste and flavors.

Stopped by this place on a lunch break and sometimes order take out from this location. It was the closest Asian food joint in the area.The cooking here is decent. Nothing too special and I’m not a fan of the consistency of thier sauces. They tend to either be too gooey or too watery.
When in doubt if you’re craving Asian cuisine and you’re in a bind it won’t hurt to eat from there but if you’re a traditional foodie and enjoy quality I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Next time I’ll consider driving those extra miles to the next Asian location.
