She uses original recipes for many menu items and ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible. The racist energy was like no other I’ve ever experienced in my life. I felt very uncomfortable to pick up my food. Immediately upon entering everyone stopped to look at me, I wasn’t greeted, nor asked what I needed rather a table or pick up order, I had to wait and stop someone and ask if my meal was ready, while waiting I could hear whispered about why I had ordered so many drinks “this is ridiculous”. I than sat my keys and phone on a near table to garb the “many bags” that were such a bother for her to bring up front. She instead placed the items on the table. And walked away. Very distasteful and not demure. I spent over $30 for a small breakfast for my family and was too upset and bothered to even eat the food after this experience. I’m originally from Columbus Ohio so maybe this is normal is small towns not use to seeing black faces still in 2026 ! And on the last day of black history month. I can’t !

If you’re looking for great food, friendly service, and that old timey, small diner feel… brother, this is it. There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t live about this place. The owner makes everything from scratch and cooks every meal. The servers were extremely friendly. The food was ample in serving size and absolutely wonderful in flavor. Try the homemade hot sauce! We noticed every table in the place kept asking for it, so we did too. Ended up going home with a bottle of our own! We ordered the chicken, sausage gravy/biscuits with 2 eggs. I like my eggs very fried hard and no one ever does them right. I asked for them “killed, Armageddon style” and she did them perfectly. I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it is mine. That being said…That was great attention to detail. She cares about everything that hits someone’s table.

This place is right by my house, and I, for some reason, have never been here. I took my son out for breakfast here last week, and it was great! Hands down the nest breakfast in the area! I am always looking for a good breakfast burrito and am always left disappointed. They knocked it out of the park. Topped it off with their home made hot sauce. My son, who is a BIG eater order 2 pancakes, the server recommended 1. He got one and was stuffed, but said it was delicious as well. As we left, I called my wife and told her I couldn’t wait to take her there. Thank you!
