From Sannicandro Italy, where Tony’s parents started their large family with 8 children is where the inspiration to bring authentic Italian food to Algonquin comes from.
What we have been missing is the Woodfire pizza from home in Italy… from the crisp, yet soft dough, to the fresh mozzarella and most delicious, fresh ingredients.

I would 100% recommend eating the pizza at the restaurant than take out. My first time trying was take out and only in 10 minutes the cheese hardened and it was cold. I called about it and they explained how it’s better in person and it hardens quick. They were happy to have me bring it back for a refire but it would have been pointless. Regardless, I warmed it back up a little but it took a while. It tasted great none the less, but the hassle of getting the cheese melted again, than trying it fresh, made things tough because it was cold upon arrival. So definitely try in person! I ordered the margarita, its’ sauce was tasty and the pizza was crispy.

I had not heard that Algonquin opened up a new wood fire pizza restaurant. An Algonquin friend let us know about it so we decided to meet up there for dinner on a Saturday. When we walked in I noticed right away that this place was linked to Cucina Bella restaurant so I gained confidence this was going to be good.
We ordered a giant Caesar salad and various pizza. I only took a picture of the Diavolo one I ate. It was very good. A bit over down, greasy, etc but very good. It was 3 kids under the age of 6 and 3 adults with 4 pizzas and no left overs so we must of liked it…right?
Staff was extremely friendly and kept up with refills, checking in, etc. Looking forward to future visits.

I met up with an old friend and we talked for a long time. The service was fantastic, and she let us linger extra-long.
We ordered Buffalo wings that had a kick, and we’re not too hot.
We shared a perfectly wonderful white pizza.
It was happy hour, so martinis were our choice: 1 lemon and 1 cosmo.
We finished our visit by sharing a tiramisu – absolutely divine ✨️

Been a few times since we moved out here and everything is always excellent! Most importantly, the pizza is top notch. The ingredients, dough, specialty pizzas, are all flawlessly executed. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you get. Staff is always very attentive and friendly. We love the sidewalk patio but went inside recently and was pleased to see a nice bar and a few different dining areas, all very clean and modern. I placed a pickup order and it was ready in under 15 minutes! We got two pizzas and it was plenty for 4 adults. Grateful to have such an outstanding restaurant so close to home and a staple of the evolving downtown.

We have gotten delivery from Bella’s in Algonquin, several times because my sister loves their wood oven pizza. I’m not so partial to it. I find a good portion of the center crust to be wet, flimsy and unappealing. Tonight I tried the meatball sub and found it to be subpar. (Pun intended) With such a limited menu I assumed items would be handmade according to recipes, but no. The roll, although fine, was nothing special the sauce being much the same. The meatballs were those spongy things you get in any frozen premade Italian style item at the grocery store. The one item that is always good and I would recommend is the Bella salad.

Awesome addition to downtown Algonquin! I’ve tried about half of the pizzas on the menu, and all have been tasty! The inside is much larger than it appears from the outside. The service is great!
Tip: order the Baked Goat Cheese Suprema appetizer and use the remaining sauce to dip your pizza crust in, yum!

My wife and I tried Bella’s wood fire pizza last night for the first time. I have to tell you what an absolute wonderful experience from the atmosphere, service and food. 5 stars all the way. The calzone was amazing.
We will be definitely going back!!

First time I went about a year ago and I really didn’t like the pizza toppings and sauce much, but I wanted to give it another try.
The pizza was MUCH better this time around. The vibes inside were still a bit off with customers looking around, not many servers to be found (it was Friday night), no music, etc.
They may have been understaffed.
But I got the Spicy Bella pizza with extra sauce and my husband got the Fig and Goat Cheese pizza. Both were fantastic! The crust is soooo good.
Prices are a little steep, but I will come back to see if they can deliver the same quality.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I’ve never had a bad experience. From the wine, appetizers, food, desserts, and anything/everything in between — I’ve NEVER been disappointed. The employees are SO friendly and kind. They make great recommendations and create delicious cocktails. Servers know me by name and will say hi in the street as I walk by, even when I am not stopping by for a bite. I’ve recommended Bella’s to every one of my friends. This is a place that I will always treasure and visit. Keep it up Bella’s!!!!

Finally, awesome wood fire pizza is in Algonquin!! Ordered a Brittney pizza and a panzarotti, sausage was delicious, sauce was just right. The pizza crust is perfect, right amount of char, thin but good chew. Nutella pizza is a great ending. If I had to critique anything our panzarotti could have been slightly more done, but it was still cooked throughout. Staff is attentive and engaging. This place is firing on all cylinders, total win.
