We had a nice meal here stopping through off I-70. Plenty of space and friendly service, with great views of the river. We had lunch but there was a nice bar if one wanted a happy hour. Indoor and outdoor seating, and a quick jaunt to the old national toll road bridge, from which you can see the balcony seating. You’ve got to try the avocado fries – and for those so inclined, save the aioli dipping sauce to spread on the veggie/vegan burger, which is good but comes plain. Kids menu too, where the little one had a good grilled cheese. Nice find, and you might not know it from the plain exterior! Simple and understated, yet solid and aiming to please.

Despite some not so great reviews, my wife and I decided to check out River’s Edge. Food was delicious and the views were beautiful! Service was quick and everyone was friendly. They even decorated in December with Christmas trees from local growers which looked beautiful! Overall great experience!

So, I found this gem of restaurant. It is locally owned, and they work really hard, and they can cook. I have this pork chops glazes and peaches on top. red skin smash potatoes and coleslaw. everything was great. they told me they just recently open since a lot of work road has been done. I hope you guys give it a try because they have something really good. amazing deck with a stunning view to the river, patio heaters and good wine (and also cold beer for $2.50, I don’t know for how long). the food took about 20 minutes to come to my table, but it is not fast food remember that. I will definitely come back.

The service was okay, not good, just okay. The food, on the other hand, was terrible. Friends took my wife and I out and I felt bad for them because they picked the restaurant and felt bad for it. One dish was 2 small pieces of halibut, maybe 1.5″ in diameter each, 1′ thick. They forgot hos side. The stuffed shrimp were 4 shrimp, not big shrimp either. The special, my meal, was veal ribs that were so overcooked I could hardly eat half of them. My wife and I got rice pilaf as a side and we both nearly chipped our teeth on it. Jokingly, we had the other couple try the pilaf, and they just laughed. My wife got a steak that was well cooked, however, the mashed potatoes and rice pilaf that she got with it were sub-par. Out of 4 meals, three were a great disappointment and one was just a regular disappointment.

Great!!! Delicious meal, attentive service by Ashley! Pleasant outdoor seating by the river. Worth stopping if you are passing by on I-70. Greek chicken, SW chicken both were perfect, sides also. Generous portions, reasonable prices. Sorry we were too full to try the desserts this visit. Glad they were open late.

Took my family in for dinner Saturday night and I wasn’t too pleased. Crab cakes were burnt and my husbands fish was dry. Nothing really on the dinner menu for kids and we were told the cook said they couldn’t order from the lunch menu. The manager apologized and offered us a discount, drink and dessert but we just wanted to leave cause my girls were hungry. . Great location so it’s a real shame. Waitress was nice though.

We were sat quickly, great service. Our
appetizers came out very quickly however the crab cakes were super mushy and had zero crab flavor, real no flavor at all… the spinach artichoke dip was decent…I ordered the special which was steak and shrimp. The shrimp was amazing, steak was very poor quality no taste at all… The veggies and sweet potato were amazing… so I spent 26.00 on shrimp and veggies… My husband got the Halibut. It was awful. Taste so fissshhhyyyyy was slimy. And his coleslaw was actually soured. We paid 26.00 for that as well. Server was nice and kept out drinks full but we walked out spending almost 90 dollars on food that was not worth 90.00. I really wanted to support a small local business instead of go to a chain steak house for the night but the quality of food was no where even close to what we paid.

I recently hosted an event for 50 people with buffet dinner and bar in one of the upstairs private meeting rooms. The experience was top notch! The food was delicious and the service was excellent!
I worked with Missy to coordinate the event and she went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was just as I had requested. From the minute we walked through the door, until the last person left over six hours later, the entire staff–host, servers, bartenders and bussers were professional, courteous and extremely attentive to our needs. I highly recommend River’s Edge!

Went there Saturday evening with my family. Waitress very pleasant. 2 ordered wedge salads. One was so small that a Wendys side salad would have been larger. Mine was stuffed fish which wasn’t stuffed and the sauce that was supposed to be on it was missing so it was very dry. Lobster mac and cheese had so much cheese that only a quarter of the dish could be eaten. One other dish appeared to have an ingredient missing. Won’t be going back. Food quality was poor.

Won’t go back. One of the most unorganized places I’ve ever been. The place was mostly empty when we got there and we were asked if we had a reservation. Two waitresses debated where to put our party of 4…then never told us where we we’re actually going. Asked if we just wanted water while we were still standing at the door. Then our waitress said she’d be back with straws ..left and came back with bread and no straws…. left and came back with straws this time and asked if we were ready to order…. stopped halfway through to answer the phone and then complained about how busy it was…..the menu was only half…a handful of entrees, no sides were listed or beverages. Nothing to even tell you what came with your entree, and ridiculously expensive. The food was okay…they make an attempt to make it look fancy, but it’s nothing special or that you wouldn’t be able to get somewhere else cheaper.
