Under new ownership and there’s still bar fights all the time. Used to love coming here but they are still letting the same trashy people in that cause problems so I will not be back!

It’s not even a question “how this place was” a diamond in the rough”…8am open. Not sure on closing time I’m a morning type of person. Stella the owner is a treat too good to beat. Halloween for adults. Best times I’ve had in quite a while. Great bartender and customers. I’ve been back several times.

Stella’s is all about the warm, friendly ambiance. The first beer I ever had here was on the house, courtesy of Stella herself. She’s a larger-than-life, salt of the earth type with a heart of gold, and her place reflects her personality.
If you remember ‘Cheers’, then Stella’s will seem mighty familiar. The regular crowd includes artists, town council members, bankers, engineers, bikers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians – in short, just about anyone you could name.
They have a limited menu (popcorn and frozen pizza – but the pizza is actually quite good especially considering it’s only $6), but there’s always a seat available for you – except on weekends, when all the seats are filled,there’s still plenty of standing room.
No pool tables or dart board. . . a few video games and the best jukebox around – but still a great place to hang out, do some shots, and have some drinks and meet tons of great new friends!

We are riding down to Joliet and noticed this little jem as we were gettin pretty thirsty.
I had the chance to meet Stella herself, and she was a peach! This place seems like a fun, neighborhood, spot that is very welcoming.

Well I have not been to this place yet, but we walked by yesterday and it was very noisy inside. That’s not really an issue, but when I can’t find a menu on line, I tend to stay away from those establishments. If i’m missing something, then let me know. Menu pix says someone reported the menu as outdated. There is no website on the internet, just facebook and I didn’t see a menu indicated anywhere on facebook.

Bartenders are nice but the owner sits inside all day drinking. She’s drunk and belligerent every time I’ve been here.
