We spent a night in Charleston, WV and found this GEM! My husband got the local fave beer and loved it. I had the bacon and pimento burger- incredible, they know how to cook a burger- exactly how I asked. Husband had the wings and loved them. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Our hostess was kind and helpful. Our server was friendly, informative, attentive. It’s worth the short walk after finding a parking spot. Highly recommend!

Fries are cooked to perfection !
CONS:
Parking is not great so get there early
Finding where the main entrance is was a little tricky
And this might just be a personal preference but the TVs were a little too loud .. but there was a game on so you know how that goes.
Overall 10/10 .. I will go again ! I’m glad I found it !

Great food, neat old building. Was full of people having a good time. Service was very slow and she forgot everything, silverware, refills, etc.
Really good cubano sandwich. Pickles were listed (on the menu) as memorable and they were very vinegar based and fantastic. Overall, it was a good dinner.

Stopped in for a late dinner and a drink while traveling through the area; didn’t want fast food so we picked this slightly off the beaten path little spot. Super glad we did! The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I was served a very generously sized Manhattan and the flavors were perfect. It was a little loud, football game was on and there’s nothing to soften the noise, but otherwise a perfect spot for a sit and a bite.

We visited Charleston for just one night and chose this restaurant based on strong recommendations. The food was excellent—my wife’s braised beef sandwich was flavorful and generous, and my Rise Up burger was cooked perfectly, including the egg. Service was friendly, though a little slow, which is understandable during busy times.
One area for improvement is accessibility. The website mentions handicap-accessible entrance, seating, and parking. While the entrance and seating were great, we couldn’t find any designated handicap parking nearby and had to park on a very narrow street, which was challenging. Adding clearly marked accessible parking spaces close to the restaurant would make a big difference for guests with mobility needs

I don’t know how to better emphasize that this establishment strives to provide the best service to all of its customers. My family visits here easily twice a month at minimum and are never disappointed. The drinks are great. The fries and mozerella pearls are amazing and the burgers, wraps, and wings are fabulous. Tonight we got TO GO and as expected the grilled cheese for my son was perfect, the buffalo wrap was spicy but yummy and the chicken club was great. Looking for a great local tucked away restaurant, visit here parking is tough in this area but that is not the restaurants fault. Be patient, it’s worth the struggle.

Nice burger and sandwich restaurant. Burger portions are large, packed with good ingredients and flavors. The french fries are a blend between country style and crispy which is the best in between. They had an interesting take on the caprese salad. Good selection of drinks as well for a night cap. Service was good. Restaurant is small so there might be a slight wait for a table at peak hours.

Buffalo chicken sandwich was very crispy, you could tell the sauce was not just a bottled sauce but made in house. Ranch that went with it was also amazing and homemade. Girlfriend had the rise and shine burger which she also said was delicious. Staff were very pleasant, waiter that wasn’t even ours stopped and chatted for a minute. Wish we lived closer to try some of their other menu items.

Busy restaurant but still seated quickly. Amazing waiter. Great alcohol drinks. My whole family enjoyed their meals. I enjoyed my build-your-own burger the most and you can probably see in the picture why. Just great service and atmosphere. Favorite restaurant in south-hills.
