Wife and I have been to multiple Cafe Rios across a few states simply because we love it. FABRIZIO and the crew at State Line Idaho hooked it up once again! This is becoming our treat night.
Always fresh and put together exactly the way you order.
Love it!
Great Job!

The first time I went here the lady serving me was super nice and easy going. She explained how everything worked to me and served me really well. This time, which was only my second time, I went there and the lady(looked like the manager) was in a really sour mood. She didn’t give us any time to look at the options over before barking her questions at us. She didn’t offer us anything else besides whatever she threw in the plate and gave a fake smile at the end. Made me feel unwelcome and the way she was sighing and talking to coworkers made me feel like she just wanted to give us whatever as quickly as possible so we could go away. Cashier was nice though. Place seemed kinda clean. Food was really good. The manager lady just really ruined it.

My wife and I went here for the 1st time and overall it was a good experience and very good, fresh food. She had a shredded chicken quesadilla, and I had steak burrito with rice, black beans, and refried beans, with salsa Verde and sour cream. Steak is an extra $2 meat option, which I didn’t mind paying. Serving sizes are pretty large/good value for cost.

With weighting food more heavily, giving average 4.0 star rating overall.
This isn’t a place you’ll want to go to for a sit-down, waited-on service type experience, but for very good food at a reasonable price Cafe Rio works well. We did eat there as did several other couples and families and it was ok, but it’s more geared to take-out.
Recommended.

Ordered my food to go tonight and by the time I got home to eat my food we realized they forgot my dressing. My husband drove the 10 minutes back to the store and kindly asked them for the dressing and to remake the tostada because it was now cold. The manager made my husband feel stupid for even bothering coming back and made a huge deal about it. Lots of attitude and my husband felt like he was being yelled at. Used to come here all the time and now I will not be returning.

Awesome Mexican restaurant for fast food. Everything is made fresh so you can’t go wrong. Deli White Rice and Black beans combined with other options are always part of the entrees you can get. I strongly recommend this new restaurant.

I have only visited this location a few times since I usually go to the CDA location because it is closer to home, but I absolutely love this one. The staff are consistently friendly, especially Robert and Natalie, who always provide excellent service.

The atmosphere and overall cleanliness here are noticeably better than at the CDA location. The restaurant feels more welcoming, well maintained, and enjoyable to dine in. I look forward to coming back to this location whenever I can.

The food is very yummy and fresh. I especially love their salads, they pile so much on there it is easily shareable amongst two people. Their Pollo Asada chicken is my favorite and they have a lot of variety of toppings and sides. I also love their chips and queso and appreciate the serving size on that too. The service can be really slow especially during busy windows so I recommend ordering ahead online to skip the line. Other than that, I have not had any other negative experiences.

I am changing my review…
I once praised this place. But then I’ve had rude interactions with one of the girls there, over and over again, around 18 and reddish shorter hair. Then found a staple in my burrito.
I called and they refunded the burrito but not the rest of the meal. Because they refunded the burrito, it took away a $10 deal of you spent like $25+…so I ended up paying for the staples burrito anyway. Thumbs down, Cafe Rio

Please encourage your employees to be more thoughtful of celiacs. My girlfriend (a celiac) and I went in on x-mas eve due to a sudden change in plans. We asked the employee at the register if the corn tortillas could be considered gluten free. He said yes. We knew there was a decent chance of some slight cross contamination of gluten and were prepared, however, I noticed online that the corn tortillas also have flour in them. Meaning, they are not gluten free. So now my girl friend is spending the holiday sick.
As far as service went, it was average for the most part. When we asked about the tortillas and gluten, our cashier seemed annoyed by our questions. Sorry for not wanting to be sick. Other than that it was fine. My guacamole was brown, but I know that happens very quickly. So I’m not upset.
Overall, please review your ingredients in your food before telling your guests, especially ones who told you they’re celiac, that the corn tortillas are fully gluten free.

They had such a fun atmosphere for opening day! Spin the wheel, swag, free meals, and lots of energy from the crew. Everyone was on their A game and smiling. The crew sang a song for our nacho order and our coupons were able to be used right away. Excited to have a Cafe Rio closer to us now.
