Total gem! Had the avocado toast and wow fresh, flavorful, and just hits the spot. You can tell they use real quality ingredients and put love into what they serve. Haven’t enjoyed something this good and healthy in a while. ✨

On top of that, the staff was super friendly and the place is spotless. If you’re into clean eats with a chill vibe, Claire’s Kitchen Cafe is a must. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s a nice cafe located in the upper east side. In all honesty, it completely exceeded my expectations. We loved the turkey sandwich and all the ingredients were super health. I also recommend pancakes. It was deff a five star experience.

This Mediterranean inspired café has two locations, another in Harlem, and is serving up everything from coffee, fresh sandwiches and salads, protein bowls, desserts and pastries — with gluten free options as well.

Highly recommend going with the extra thick Pancake stack and pairing that with the Moroccan inspired “Frena Tunisian” sandwich with Frena bread, Tunisian speared, pickled lemon, mild peppers, tuna salad, hard-boiled egg, arugula, pickles and red onions. A truly unique take on the tuna sandwich.

I spent this morning in Claire’s Kitchen Cafe. Lovely, small, cute place!

Like I’ve mentioned before, Google Maps gives me three options: Food, Atmosphere and Service.

I will start with my highlights. I had a good time sitting and getting to journal before starting work here. The atmosphere was small and there were only four seats inside this place. There were outside seats too with tables. Today was raining so I instead stayed indoors. If you’re looking for a place to come with a group a friends this is not the place as it’s more of a local business with limited seating. That being said the service in this place was fine. I was serviced quickly and my order of a cappuccino was done with care.
What I will say is this: I did not enjoy my cappuccino. I am not sure yet whether that is the coffee beans themselves or how fine the beans were with the expresso machine (aka weighed and grinded). But unfortunately, the coffee felt bitter to me. I’d almost say as if the beans were past there freshness or expiring date. I did not finish the cappuccino and ended up throwing it away.

Overall, my service was a 4/5 as my barista did do some latte art :). The coffee itself was what they say “mid.” And the atmosphere was a highlight for me.

Would I buy coffee from here again? No. But the atmosphere is lovely and I did not try any food so I could not comment on that itself.

Not sure how this place has the reviews it does. I’ve walked by here probably 1000 times and finally decided to try it for lunch today. I got the sabih salad with chicken and couldn’t be more disappointed. First it’s supposed to be on mixed greens but is on romaine… not that big of a deal. However it’s supposed to contain roasted potatoes and they are nowhere to be found and when I called the restaurant it’s because they are out but they didn’t offer to substitute it with another carb or anything, they just left it out. Additionally the real kicker is that the salad just wasn’t good… like a salad I would make at home but much worse and much more expensive. Maybe their sandwiches are better? While I like supporting small businesses I will definitely not be returning and taking the risk of wasting more money on their food

I recently moved to a new neighborhood and decided to explore the local coffee shops for my morning breakfast routine. Right next to my building, I discovered Claire’s Kitchen Cafe. The place has a charming ambiance, albeit small with limited seating – one table and two sets on the window bar inside, and three tables outside.

I opted for Claire’s BEC for breakfast, and it was a delightful choice – delicious and satisfying. However, my experience with the cappuccino was not as impressive. The overcooked milk resulted in a cappuccino that lacked the creamy texture and flavor profile that I was expecting.

Despite the mixed coffee experience, the service at Claire’s Kitchen Cafe was friendly and pleasant. While I may not return specifically for the coffee, I would consider revisiting for the food.

Small cafe. Not a lot of indoor seating (1 table) with a few counter spots. A few outdoor dining chairs. Avo Toast was top notch, very fresh. Friendly staff.

This is a tiny place but the yogurt granola I had was good. Lots of fruit and honey. I also had a cup of coffee that while tasty was not quite hot enough!
The lady behind the counter was very friendly and talkative.
The pic is the view from one of the two counter chairs available.
