Normally, I always go to this subway because it is very convenient for me and most of the time my subs are always really good and the people are very nice inside but I recently went there and got a BMT 6 inch I went to bite my sandwich and there was a long piece of hair inside my sandwich. The lady did not have a hair net on, but had very long hair. I also asked for extra lettuce on my order and did not receive that. I was very disappointed. I had to throw my whole sandwich in the trash. I tried to call the subway multiple times, nobody would answer. This event happened on September 3, 2025

At 8:30 on a Saturday night they are out of bread and the door is locked. Not sure how they don’t have ANY bread in stock especially with a Walmart next door but ok.
This is a 2nd review made 3 months later… I gave them 3 stars originally now down to 1 smh. This store is horrible. The service was just ok. I’d like to support my local subway but considering 2 of the 3 times I’ve been here there was an issue I certainly will never be back. I thought I’d give them another try since I received some coupons in the mail but was told by the young man working the counter that his boss ASHVEN does not allow them to accept the coupons. I’ll keep them to use at another location since this one doesn’t want my business. So I walked a few doors over to Jersey Mike’s where I happily paid full price for EXCELLENT service by 3 gentleman, food was fresh and delicious even though it was about 20 minutes before closing. The staff was happy to take my order and answer all my questions considering it was my first time there. Well Jersey Mike’s will now be my Go-To for sandwiches. Good luck to anyone wanting subway, I don’t recommend them and I will never be back to the Smithfield location. My advice would be skip the headache and head over to Jersey Mike’s.

Usually good but I ordered on line with less mayo on my tuna sub and there was enough on it for three or four subs so couldn’t taste the tuna. Two young girls working and not paying attention to what they were doing, just get it made and bag it and move on to the next order.

I came in at 9:30 at night, there was two ladies working and one lady was a little older and she was very very kind.
It was a quick and easy experience. I had my steak and cheese sub toasted. Everybody was wonderful.

I walk in, there are three workers present, 2 females and one male. The guy had just come to the dining area as I was walking in and one woman was cashing out a customer, the other walked to the back and then a minute later came out to get something to drink. I stand at the counter with no other people in line. The workers are chatting, getting something to drink and exchanging cash from the tip jar on the counter with cash from the register. This goes on for another couple of minutes with no acknowledgment of my presence at all, so I leave. I tell my fiancee and he goes in to ask when the manager would be in, but they said they didn’t know who that was or when they would be in, nor did they know the number to corporate. When he asked why I couldn’t be served, they said they were too busy…the man still in the dining room hanging around the chip cart, the one woman still exchanging money from tips with the till, and the other still sipping her drink and laughing with her coworkers. The only one who would answer any questions was the one with the drink, the other two just spoke in Spanish and kept laughing and giggling. All I wanted was a dang sandwich!

I miss my older ladies who work here! They never disappointed us. These young kids need like another month of training. They didn’t wipe the knife after making all these other subs and then cut mine. There was a sharpie right in from of them and they were trying to write with a pen. It was so hectic in here they were all squeezing in trying to get Ingredients on the subs they were making instead of just going two at a time. The one poor older lady working with them was trying to help them but you could tell it was hard for her bc they weren’t registering what she was saying.
