Stopped in for a torta de asada and two chicken tacos. The staff was super friendly right when we walked in.
The asada torta was delicious. I usually prefer telera bread, but their bolillo was solid, and the melted cheese on the top bun created this amazing crispy crust that set it apart from other places. Loved it!
Didn’t try the chicken tacos myself (they were for coworker), but they said they were excellent.
It’s also a carnicería with fresh meats and good deals, place was clean and welcoming. Definitely coming back for food and meat. Highly recommend!

I was referred to la carniceria by my barber across the street. He said you gotta try this place if you want good food. Well today Henry and I gave it a try. Simply put. Awesome. Everything you want and more. You don’t want to cook for a party. Come here. The food is as good as it gets.

Got lunch to go from here while in Madera for a wedding. I had one chicken and one carnitas enchilada. Both were good, but for me, the carnitas was definitely better. Chicken was a little hard and lacking in flavor. But in my experience, carnitas normally has more flavor than chicken anyway. Side of rice and beans was also good. My wife had two chicken tacos and one carnitas taco. Again, similar, the chicken were good, but the carnitas was better. Service was great here, employees were very friendly and had good recommendations for food and drink.

Just moved back from Fresno after 16 years and have been looking for good Menudo, Tacos, Burritos and Hamburgers here in Madera. I gotta say “Carniceria y Taqueria Jalisco” has it all. No longer searching, this place is very Good and well priced. Did I mention the Great Customer Service, new Favorite Spot.
