Friggin loved this place! Food was fantastic. Oyster appetizers and calamari. Main course was halibut encrusted with artichoke and crab. Had a few bloody Marys too. The food was to die for. My son had the creamy seafood pasta. Tons of seafood. He loved it too. I originally tried to get a table across the street at the other really good restaurant in Florence, but was really glad to get turned away and find this gem. My new favorite on the coast.

On September 10, 2016, our family of 4 enjoyed a fine gourmet dinner at Spice. All 4 of us ordered the fish served in a separate cast iron dish which kept the food hot and made more enjoyable. I do not remember ever being served in this fine manner. The service was excellent and attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant was full – we obtained the last open table. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Florence, OR. (We live in DC)

The new owners seem to be doing everything right. Beautiful presentation on the food, and flavors were wonderful. A little serving of fresh vegetables accompanied each dish, and they were cooked perfectly–not overdone. Plenty of food with each main dish. All 3 dishes (one for each of us) were so good we really enjoyed trying each other’s meals.

Spice continues to evolve….love the new menu, although I was a fan of the original fusion offerings as well. Feels like we now have a special occasion spot in Florence, a little pricier than the average Flo spot with more sophisticated offerings. !

We arrived on a rare slow night, and had excellent service, generous delicious dishes, and a leisurely meal. Started with dessert: Chocolate Martini & Front Porch Lemonade. Small Caeser salads and Garlic Fries & Crab Souffles (starter menu) might have been plenty for a full meal on a regular night, but we left room & felt ambitious! The staff was very easy-going about boxing up leftovers. For the main course, we both had today’s special: Seared Scallops with Black Pepper Porkbelly. Mmmmmmm. Yummmmm. A light beurre blanc with several bright green cilantro puree drops sat beneath the surf-and-turf, with house made mashed potatoes and vegetables on the side. Open only 4-8pm, you may need reservations! We’ll be back, it’s only a 6 hour drive from home. 🙂

HOLY CRUD! This place is no joke, a 5 star from me. great, loving, welcoming, and very friendly crew they have. I very rarely order steak due to so many times I’ve had it incorrectly made. MINE WAS PERFECTION. Great atmosphere host/owner seemed to be very engaging and friendly, not a disatisfied customer to be found. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for this experience!

We caught them on a bad night. Food was good, staff seemed nice, but it took about 90 minutes to get our entrées. They finally admitted there was some kind of kitchen crisis. They should have admitted it earlier and done a better job of communicating the updated wait time to us.

Good drinks very friendly, clean. Good ambiance, they had a piano player, great for a romantic candle lit dinner. Food was good. $$somewhat a bit pricy but not too bad.
