I went to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything was perfect. I can’t remember our server’s name but he is very friendly, attentive and I love his recommended menu, Bouillanaisse de Marseille! He also gave us a small dessert with lighting candle for us to celebrate the birthday. This was my second time here and I came back for steak tartare and escargot. They are the best and I will definitely come back for more. Their cocktail, Pear flower martini was great as well. The dessert, chocolate moose was chef kiss as I like not too sweet dessert. The restaurant is very luxury and beautiful. I love the atmosphere and the design that is very photogenic. Overall, we had the best experience with Lola’s bistro.

We ate here tonight to celebrate our anniversary. What an amazing place. The food and atmosphere is top notch. We had the mushroom soup and mussels to start then steak and short ribs. Every bite was full of flavor. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good Lola Bistro was! I’ll admit, I went in a little unsure because the reviews seemed all over the place — but our experience was excellent.
Our party of four loved sharing a bunch of dishes together. Some of our favorites were the French Onion Soup, Smashburger, and Beef Stroganoff — all delicious and full of flavor. The Mussels Pom Frites were tasty too, though quite a few shells were empty, which was a bit of a bummer. The Tuna Crudo appetizer was the only real miss for us; it just needed a little more flavor or some citrus to brighten it up.
The Dirty Martini was easily one of the best I’ve ever had, and our server was absolutely lovely — friendly, attentive, and genuine. I also really appreciate that they use beef tallow for their fries — you can definitely taste the difference, they were incredible.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, and for a Tuesday night, it was impressively busy (a good sign!). The only small downside was that the hostess could’ve been a bit warmer at check-in, but otherwise service was solid all around.
Lola Bistro is still fairly new, and while there’s a little room for improvement, I think it’s off to a fantastic start. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!
PS: It’s also fairly priced!

As soon as I stepped foot in this restaurant, it immediately became my new favorite spot. The atmosphere is perfectly unique. From the charming decor, to the seating, to the French music, we really felt like we were in a European cafe! And then the food came out and was just as fantastic. Onion soup-best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had it in Paris), steak tartare-prepared in a unique way, also one of the best I’ve had, short rib baguette- delicious, quiche Lorraine-scrumptious. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. And the service was phenomenal. It’s rare to find a restaurant that checks all 3 boxes (food, service, atmosphere). I cannot wait to return!

I LOVE it here! So so so cute, they are really dedicated to the French theme (even the sink faucets say froid and chaud). Nice atmosphere with the lighting and decorations.
Amazing drink and food menu, it’s not too long which makes making a decision so much easier. The mezcal, cognac, cherry drink was delish. They use the dark maraschino cherries as garnish. The bees knees has a fun added element of pea tree flower to make it purple. Good wines as well.
The bread service is amazing; the butter is so salty and soft. The salad that has bacon in it ended up being the star of the show for me. Though, the steak frites were excellent as well. The Caesar looked and tasted good. The mushroom soup was thick and rich, be sure to save enough room. If not, you can take it home for later. The pork and salmon were other good meat options.
I will definitely be returning!

The restaurant is really nice and cozy. I love how they manage the lights not too bright or dim and it makes taking pictures easier. We went there to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was fantastic. With the crowded customers there came with the loud noise and somehow he couldn’t hear us well with cocktails order and got misunderstood but finally he managed to get us new drink! We are very happy with the service and food.

We had lunch as a group of four people, we ordered cocktails, the tartar as an appetizer to share and we each got a main course. Everything tasted really good. The bread was fluffy inside and crunchy on the outside and the onion soup was made to perfection.
The overall vibe was very chill for a late lunch, with moderate noise that still allowed us to have a conversation. We were also with a baby, which was very convenient.

My wife and I visited for the first time today and we had a lovely lunch. The decor and vibe was definitely our style and the other aspects of our experience (menu selections, service, meal) were also top notch. We especially enjoyed the French Onion Soup (a guest favorite I’m sure). We will definitely be back in the future.

Lola’s in Chagrin Falls is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the GM, Joseph Deininger, graciously seated us at the best table in the restaurant, and our server, Liam, whom gave us fantastic service, greeted us with adorable mini martinis, such a cute and thoughtful touch. ($8 each) The atmosphere is warm and inviting with perfect low lighting, making it feel special yet relaxed. We started with the Moules Frites and Lola’s Salad Maison, both delicious. For dinner, the Short Rib aux Braises, Lola’s Beef Stroganoff (truly out of this world!), and the Trout Amandine were all phenomenal. For dessert, we couldn’t resist and ordered one of everything to share, each one was incredible. The cocktails were great too, and we loved the charming cups and beautiful plates. Hands down, the best food in town and, in my opinion, the best of all Rick Doody’s restaurants! We will be back.
