My boyfriend and I heard about this place from Apple (our favorite server at Bleu Bear Sushi in Bedford aka its sister restaurant) and it did not disappoint. We ordered a little bit of everything (the miso soup, the wagyu goyza, the crispy rice hamachi, the salmon apple cold plate, salmon, bluefin tuna, and yellowtail rolls, and green tea and strawberry mochi) and the quality, taste, and presentation of everything was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t stop talking about how delicious and fresh everything tasted all throughout our visit and even the whole way home! Besides the food, the vibes, service and price point can’t be beat. It is also worth mentioning that this is a woman-owned business with one of the co-owners being a previous chef at NOBU in Chicago which sets them apart from any sushi spot in DFW. We call this place a “hidden gem” but it truly deserves to be much more than that. We will definitely be back!!

Great experience and it was only their third day open! Food was all great. They gave great recommendations. My favorites were the apple salmon, miso soup, volcano roll, and mount sunflower roll. The dishes were also so so cute! Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in flo mo.

Went during the soft opening. It looks unassuming from the outside, but the inside has a higher-end vibe. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Best sushi I’ve had since moving here in 2021. We had a variety of rolls and all were excellent. Our party of three had the shishito peppers, salmon apple – which was surprisingly excellent, dragon roll, mount Rainier maki, mount Bona maki, salmon roll, and yellowtail scallion roll. I took a green tea tiramisu home, which was also excellent. Definitely recommend it and I truly hope it does well and maintains excellence!

My husband and I tried this place during their soft opening and had a great experience! So nice to have this more elevated dining experience close to home, we’ll definitely be back!
Unfortunately their full bar wasn’t up and running yet but they did give us complimentary wine and 20% off our bill so that was nice!

Brussel Sprouts – flash fried and super flavorful
Salmon & Apple – would not have thought to try this but it was highly recommended by our server and was probably my fave dish of the night!
Hamachi Serrano – also delicious and perfectly well balanced
Mini Sashimi Omakase – we loved dressed sushi so this was amazing
Mini Nigiri Omakase – also delicious
Fried Fish – this was okay; a bit salty and not a ton of meat
Another Nigiri (can’t remember the name) that was a bit too sweet
Green Tea Tiramisu – I’m not a big green tea or tiramisu person so this wasn’t my fave but I think many people find this one a fave

We came for their soft opening and honestly… they did not just meet expectations. They completely OVER DELIVERED. Every single dish was a burst of flavors in our mouths. Unexpected combinations. Beautiful presentation. Premium quality. The kind of experience that makes you pause after the first bite and just look at each other like… WOOOW.
We ordered the Spicy Cucumber Salad, Madai Yuzu Orenji, Hirame Yuzu Lemon, Salmon & Apple, Sashimi Sake, Sashimi Sake Toro, Silver Sea Donburi, Chu Toro Micro Cilantro, and the Unagi Butter Peach. Not one miss. Everything felt thoughtful, elevated, and exciting. You can absolutely taste the influence of a globally-renowned chef behind this menu. 10/10 JUST AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS.
They even surprised us with a complimentary Matcha Tiramisu Cake— which was so sweet of them! SOO DELICIOUS!
Service was just as impressive. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Attentive without being overwhelming. Quick pacing. Warm energy. The space itself is clean, modern, upscale, and honestly gives big city sushi lounge vibes right here in the heart of Flower Mound!
We are SO happy to welcome a restaurant of this caliber to our beautiful North Dallas area. We already cannot wait to come back and try more! We fully expect this place to be packed very soon because once people experience the quality of both the food and service… word will spread fast!
