We stopped for lunch here. I had the BBQ pork sandwich with sweet sauce and Brunswick stew. Both were excellent! The stew is not minced up, nor is it like vegetable soup that some places serve. It’s kinda in between. It was awesome! Im a minced stew person, and i still loved it. Just a heads up, there is no indoor seating. it’s all outdoor and to go. We sat on the porch at a table. My buddy had the brisket, said it was top notch! Highly recommend stopping here

The little restaurant was busy both times we visited this week. For breakfast we ordered a sausage and egg buttermilk biscuit, a breakfast bowl with smoked ham, and a plain buttermilk biscuit. Delicious!
Today for dinner we ordered a slab of ribs, sauce, baked beans, and potato salad. The ribs were outstanding and I didn’t even end up eating them with sauce. The baked beans had smoked ham and were heavily seasoned. I loved them, but I can see how others might consider them spicy. The potato salad was chunky and tasty!
The owners were on site and were very friendly.
No wonder this place had a line coming out of the door.

We were running late for a flight, my husband was starving, and Zims had our backs! They were open at 11am, had a drive thru, fast friendly service, and the food is ten stars every time. The corn bread, we didn’t even order. Best I’ve ever had. Thank you Zims for saving the day!

First time I got something from this place.
I got the stew.
What a mess! The texture was waayyy off. Like somebody browned up some ground beef, chunked in some smoked pork with peas and corn.
And the taste was confusing, one bite tasted like smoked pork and one would taste like overcooked bland ground beef.
No more for me.

Size of ribs was impressive, and they were tasty, though I think they only waved them though some smoke a few times. Mustard sauce was phenomenal, and the brisket sandwich quite tasty, even though I was offered lettuce and tomato on it! Mac and cheese, very tasty too. No inside seats, but tables available outside. Solid choice.

This was some delicious bbq. It’s all made fresh to order. 🙂 No complaint’s here. I love that the staff is so friendly. Even though it’s outdoor seating it didn’t matter as it was a beautiful day when we ate lunch there.

My family and I picked up some bbq pork to make sandwiches at home. We were all pleased with the quality of the meat and it exceeded any expectation for each us. We specifically enjoyed the smoke flavor. Not everyone can smoke good pork but these people here know how to do it well. Their pork is good enough it doesn’t need to be sauced, which is saying something about the quality in its taste profile. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Best bbq place in Georgia! That is saying a lot being from Texas. Beans were amazing and the best I’ve ever eaten, cornbread was cold but was still amazing and that is saying a lot considering I don’t like cornbread. Ribs had tons of flavor and feel off the bone. Brisket and pork was really juicy and packed with flavor also. Macaroni and cheese was homemade and delicious as well. Will definitely be back.
