I don’t normally eat in Filipino restaurants in Charleston, SC because I cook better than what they serve me. But this restaurant is an exception. All the foods they serve are top notch, really delicious and are well prepared. The place is clean and very orderly. The ambience is calm and relaxing. And every single food is an explosion of flavors! Try their sisig! I will definitely go back here and be their regular customer! I gave five stars because that is the best rating available. I will give them more than five stars if I can!

Great little country style cafe. The first time I visited I had just missed the cutoff for breakfast and was too early for lunch. Not a problem, the ladies made me an egg sandwich. Second time I made it for breakfast and had myself a delicious omelette with hash browns.

These women know how to cook true to those southern vegetable plates I love. Yams, field peas and snaps, just right turnip greens and a aweet tasting 7 layer salad. Of course there were other items as well like hamburger steak and gravy and mashed potatoes and burgers if you want “em. I wish I wasnt just passing thru when we stopped to eat here so I could return and try everything they fixed. If you want fancy, this isn’t for you. You just order up at the serving station and register and then find yourself a seat. The friendly folks here will bring out your plate. If you want honest and good cooking, from local folks who do it right, this is the place to stop for some home cooked eats. Closes at 2pm

Driving thru Seven Springs. Decided to eat at Mae’s restaurant. Had the hamburger steak, mash potatoes with gravy. Meal was excellent! Lady that served us and waited on our table was super friendly. Highly recommend.

Cons- They were closed between Christmas and New Year’s. (completely understandable since it’s a small local restaurant)
Pros- There was a cute dog.
