Every time my family and I are in town this is a must breakfast spot . Clean , great food and overall vibe . Bananas is decorated beautifully and has both indoor and outdoor seating options. For a group a 6 we paid under $2000 pesos including adult drinks . Highly recommended if you are in Barra De Navidad .

From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel welcome. The owners clearly care about their restaurant, their staff, and every guest who comes through the door.
The food is consistently excellent and everything arrives fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything is home made fresh!
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, they make the experience relaxed and memorable without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for great food, great people, and a place that feels like it’s run with heart, Bananas is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back.

Everything about this place is welcoming and comfortable from the warm greetings of the staff to the fun decor and great food. We had a huge breakfast with fresh fruit. The omelette was good and the waffle was warm a d delicious. The decorations are fun and we even had early morning live music.

We’ve now been to Bananas for breakfast a couple of times and each time it was excellent. It’s in a great location right on the beach. If you are lucky you can watch the rays jumping out of the water.
I’ve tried both the chilaquiles and the chicken breakfast burrito. Both were excellent. They make the best salsa verde around. The service was very quick and friendly. I can’t wait to try their dinner menu!

Bananas Restaurant on the 2nd floor of Hotel Barra de Navidad. Ate here 7 mornings, and each and every experience top notch. Excellent breakfast selections. Bacon, ham, and banana pancake is off the hook good. Friendly hard working professional staff.

The chilaquiles were good, but the service was lackluster at best, without a “Buen provecho,” “Gracias” or even a single smile. The only moment of levity: when I realized the staff t-shirts all said “Yo ❤ mi trabajo” (“I ❤ my job”). I had to stifle my chuckles.
