First time and not disappointed. The bartender was very welcoming. It is definitely a dive bar (a plus), but it is much larger than it looks. Lots of rooms if you are looking for privacy from the busy main area of the bar. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Formerly the famous Black Horse Inn.
Very cozy kind of place, pleasant servers, good food, good cocktails, six beers on tap, extensive beer selection, fair prices.
Frequented by the local younger crowd. There is a pool table in the game room.
It has a 12 seat long bar, 4 tables, patio seating. Several TVs, music by Touchtunes, extra parking behind building.
Use GPS, it’s hidden in an apartment complex.

Nice little low key bar. You won’t have to yell over the noise to have a conversation with anyone. “Jen” behind the bar is very pleasant and efficient. Food is always hot promptly out of the kitchen.

Great little neighborhood bar with friendly staff and regulars. Good prices, too.

I live on the property the restaurant is on. The food seems decent. I’ve ordered about 3-4 times. So I will say this great fries and great sauces. I never tried the pizza but it does smell amazing. Usually stick with the wings and fries. Wasn’t fond of the fact that they will charge you for ranch, sauces etc or maybe it was just me that got charged for sauce

PRO: Selection unique for “pub grub”: pulled pork, brisket, spicy chicken wrap,”etc. Interesting selection of beer on tap beyond the usual bud/coors/miller.
Total bill reasonable ($17.66) for a chicken wrap n brisket sandwich both served with fries + one draft beer.
Free Wi-Fi (ask bartender for password)
Cons: 3 stars because soft drinks (coke products) or alcoholic beverages only option (besides water). No iced tea, no coffee.
Difficult to find even with a navigator app. (Entrance buried in an interior parking lot of a large apt. complex)
Neutral:
Interior unremarkable.
Outside seating bigger than entire inside bar..this would only be a negative on a crowded winter night. (12-14 seats at bar, 12 seats on tables)
Being part of a large apt complex gives it the feel of a very local, almost secret, pub.

Sauce- 3 out of 10. Acidic and sour. Not sweet enough and you need that natural sweetness from the San marzano
Crust- 8 out of 10. Really good canvas for good ingredients
Cheese- 1 out of 10. It somehow stinks and is bland at the same time.
Toppings- 6 out of 10. Good assembly but I couldn’t really judge with the sauce and cheese.
Place was hard to find but that may be the city’s fault. Ffs tho, why can no pizza place make good sauce in this city?

I am pleasantly surprised by my visit here today. The Thursday night $4 burger night did not disappoint, the tater tots were perfectly crispy, the beer was cold, and there was a decent variety. The bartender was timely and conversational; I’m certainly going to venture back here when I can! I moved to Heritage in July, and having this spot so close to my house is ideal.

They have a lot of good daily specials. Haven’t tried much from the menu oh, but had some wings and the Arizona dreaming dry rub wings were excellent and the Caribbean Jerk Sauce wings were pretty good, though not nearly hot enough. On Wednesdays their entire food menu is half price, so I aim to get back there on an upcoming Wednesday to further explore their food options. It’s a nice place to sit down and have a drink though, maybe a little dark, maybe a little dingy, but that’s the wayy I like my bars.
