An awesome experience at the Big Dog Deli! Great service from arrival to departure.
Sandwiches were huge and flavor was perfect.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and the menu is dog themed, which is super cute. We both ordered sandwiches, he had sourdough bread and I had marbled rye bread that was very good and soft. Our sandwiches were full of flavor and definitely hit the spot. I couldn’t even finish mine it was a good size sandwich. We all had the BEST cheesecake danish. Again, very good flavor and fresh. Everything was fresh, clean, and had its own style. Customer service was excellent. I would go back just because they were super nice and friendly. If you are in Springfield, MO you check this place out.

Walking in this deli was immediately a treat! The decor was adorable and everything was clean. I picked up the Corgi for my husband and the Pug for me, with coleslaw on both. Personally, I like my coleslaw a little sweeter but it was still delicious.
The Pug was the perfect amount of crispy with the amazing combo of chicken and avocado.
My husband said the Corgi was a good combination of ingredients and loved the crunch of the bacon.
We both loved the freshness of all the ingredients. Our pitty had to join my photo for the perfect advertisement! Thanks for great food and fantastic service. We’ll be back!

The roast beef is absolutely electric! All together food is great. Shout out to Kyle and Jasmine! They gave us samples of all the sides to try. Such great service and atmosphere. Definitely gonna be a reoccurring spot for me. Bravo!

Ate lunch here with some friends on our way to fantastic caverns. The inside is very cute with small tables for 2 but we chose to sit outside on their picnic tables since the weather was nice. They even brought our food outside to us. The food was delicious and very big portions. They make the bread fresh daily and have a lot of different options like turkey, pastrami, chicken salad, and even hotdogs. We will definitely be back.

This is a unique place with wonderful Fur baby style decor. I really liked it, I wish they could have more of the story on how they came up with Big Dog Deli concept, especially if it’s a real story about a dog.. but other then that the sandwiches were great, the sides are good but didn’t really stand out nor really compliment the main sammich, I would have preferred some fries or chips, ..desserts looked great, but didn’t get to taste any, but they homemade cookie that the manager gave to us at the end of our meal was very nice and very good. I would recommend for a bite.

I wasn’t super hungry, so I decided to try one of the hot dog specials of the day—something called the “Chipoweenie” or close to it. It was a chipotle sauce–based hot dog with onions and peppers. I got the special with a bag of chips and a drink for about $10. The hot dog itself was standard fare, but the sauce and toppings made it outstanding and surprisingly filling.
With a fairly extensive menu and plenty of pre-packaged items, it’s tough to make a decision.
Seating is fairly limited, and they were pretty busy, but I expect that to improve as they get more established.
Definitely planning to return and try more items from the menu.

Delicious, Friendly and Fast. I ordered ahead tonight. Both the Pastrami and Roast Beef were ready when I arrived. the staff is super nice. The shop is especially clean. The sandwiches and Broccoli Cheddar soup were awesome. I recommend Big Dog Deli anytime you’re in Springfield.
