Our food is all fresh. It’s made in-house. And we included New York staples like the black & white cookie, the rainbow cookie, Dr. Brown’s soda and milkshakes made using incredible flavors from Fruit Crown, made right here on Long Island. I’ve been to this location a handful of times and each time the food has been great except for this last visit when I found a strand of hair fried into a chicken tender. I sent an email to the email address listed on the website to make them aware of this issue but never heard back.

Grilled tenders were tender, but not juicy, rather dry. The sauces were great and pulled them through. Open late, got drive through. Didn’t have the breaded ones yet to rate. Real chicken, on the smaller size though.

Fist time here, location is very clean. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out fast, fries are hot and fresh. They have a lot of options to choose from.

Update: Looks like majority rule on the fries. They are now just generic crinkle cut fries, more like Shake Shack’s, likely from a restaurant supplier or Sysco. The made-in-house fries are gone, which is a disappointment. On this visit, my chicken breast for the BLTA was dry and unfortunately chewy, and the amount of smashed avocado has been reduced. The sandwich did still have a good amount of fresh lettuce. On the positive side, the restaurant has now completed the rebrand from PDQ, with the Chick & Tender branding in place, and they’ve added some nice seasonal touches for the fall, which makes the ambience more inviting.
Tried the BLTA at Chick & Tender in Farmingdale and loved it! Tender grilled chicken, crispy bacon, fresh veggies, and creamy smashed avocado made for a flavorful, satisfying sandwich.
The fries were a standout, natural-style crinkle cut like a slimmer Nathan’s, hearty and perfectly seasoned. The large meal came with a very generous portion.
Ordering was quick and efficient, though the food took about five minutes to come out, a little longer than I expected for a fast-casual spot.
Inside is clean and in the middle of a rebrand from PDQ, with some signage still in progress. Outdoor seating with picnic tables and umbrellas is a nice touch on a good day.

PLEASE go back to PDQ. AWFUL!!!!! Imagine the shock to pull up to order and it be a knock off PDQ. Please please please go back! Soggy fries which were so awful. Drinks in SMALL unbranded cups. Waited at the drive through window for 6.5 minutes?!?! WHY????? And the containers so large and flimsy??? So so so upsetting. NOT a positive change.

Absolutely loved their food. I don’t know if the sauce is home made or not but so good! We got the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders both were amazing ! The shakes were a great consistency and tasted amazing: Much better than chick fil a in my opinion! The service was great they hand delivered the shakes and our meal . Clean environment and excellent service and atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back.

This change over is definitely not good. This place needs better management for food quality. Very poor judgment on what should be served to people to consume. I ordered tenders , fries and a drink. Fries were disgusting, old, probably re-fried. The tenders were rubbery, and the soda taste like poison. Staff needs to care a little more on what they are serving to people.

Tried for the first time through Door Dash, food came hot and fresh. I ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich with fries and a side of BBQ/honey mustard. Also ordered a coke to drink. Coke was extra crispy! Food was extremely flavorful. Very satisfied! Will be ordering again.

The gentleman who took my order for the drive-thru was very kind and efficient. The gentleman that helped me get my food purchase was very efficient and personable. This was my first time trying the restaurant and he answered all of my questions. I would go back again. Just in case the manager is checking I came on November 18th around 5:52 p.m. both of these gentlemen should be commended for their great customer service.
