Very nice restaurant. We stopped in after a basketball Game. The food and service was amazing . We ordered the eggplant parm and the skirt steak . Everything was cooked to perfection. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and when we are back in the area we will definitely stop back in.

Loved it! We came to Trattoria as a party of 5 girls in town for a bachelorette trip. Our bride was craving Italian/pasta, and the restaurant absolutely outdid our expectations. Our server Daryl was amazing! He went above and beyond making us homemade simple syrup for our drinks and was so accommodating. The food was delicious and we were able to enjoy our dinner outside in peace, which is all we could’ve asked for. We made sure to tip him well and hope others visit and do the same!

A hidden gem! Awesome taste! Great service & flexibility to BYOD… couldn’t have asked for more. We tried Salmon, Alfred pasta… both were delicious. Thank You @ Darrel

We had dinner here twice after skiing at Belleayre this winter, and it has become our new favorite restaurant in the area. It’s a small, family-owned restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere, and it’s great for kids as well. They make their pasta in-house. We had the Caesar salad, pesto gnocchi, and chicken parmesan – all were delicious.

Absolutely worth the detour — Trattoria Locale is a hidden gem tucked in the mountains, and hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in the area (where, let’s be honest, great food can be hard to come by). The cooking here is genuinely excellent — everything feels thoughtful, homemade, and full of heart. You can taste the care in every dish, from the perfectly balanced sauces to the rustic pastas that rival anything you’d find in a big city trattoria.
It’s the kind of place you root for — locally owned, passionately run, and full of potential. If I could add one tiny suggestion (with love!), it would be to bring a touch more warmth and charm to the space itself — just enough to transport you straight to a cozy corner of Italy. A few more inviting touches could really make it the destination it deserves to be.
That said, the food alone is reason enough to keep coming back — and I will. This place is a treasure, and I hope more people get to discover it.

Delicious food, we had several dishes and all of them were exceptional. The server was not very welcoming, but the order came out quickly. They are cash only, there’s an ATM in the same building.

Pretty spartan looking restaurant with tables setup far apart like pandemic times. Burger was good but the fries looked like they were friend in old oil. Not burnt but burnt looking. My daughter enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara except she did find 3 short pieces of hair.

I stayed in Margaritaville on a recent getaway to escape the hustle and bustle and eating at Trattoria was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip. I had eaten at the old location on my previous trip and was eagerly anticipating coming back. Friendly staff, and a chef who clearly cares about his customer’s experiences. The shrimp appetizer we had was easily one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The chicken parm was fantastic and all the pasta dishes are incredible. I forgot to take pictures because I was too busy devouring dinner. 10/10 will definitely be back when I return!

We came in right before closing and the atmosphere was still very welcoming. The chef hooked us up with more bread because he could tell we liked it. The food was really incredible, 10/10. It was very affordable too, and food came out quick.
