The food was delicious, especially the gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the phone ordering experience was very frustrating. It took nearly an hour to place a simple order, with the staff repeatedly repeating items incorrectly. After more than 30 minutes, I had to ask for someone else to finish taking the order.
I was later told the GF pizza might not be safe for someone with celiac disease due to being cooked in the same oven, but I didn’t get a clear explanation of their cross-contamination protocols, which was concerning. The delivery person reassured me, and thankfully I didn’t get sick.
TL;DR: Great GF food, but poor phone communication and unclear GF safety practices.

As someone who has to be gluten free for medical reasons Iggy’s has been a breath of fresh air! I ate pizza like I never thought I could again! It was fresh and delicious and they have a huge GF menu. My non GF family LOVED their sandwich’s also!!!! The owners and staff were wonderful also! Great meals and I’ll be going back again and again!

The best GF pizza out there on their handmade crust! Crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The staff are friendly and very accommodating! Prices are reasonable. Leftovers heat up perfectly. Highly recommend Iggy’s especially for Gluten Free!!!

I own a local business and lifetime resident of Hawthorne. I have eaten at most of the local pizzerias since I was a child but once I discovered that I was suffering from some form of gluten intolerance, I had to limit my diet. My business sometimes hosts parties where the customers can bring in their own food. I confidently suggest Iggy’s and Isaura Bakery across the street, especially if any of the guests require gluten free food. Several of my regular customers and friends order from Iggy’s when they come to town and I haven’t heard a single complaint. One of my friends drives up from Elizabeth once or twice a week and usually orders food from Iggy’s, so I get to hear his personal opinions on both the regular food and the gluten free items that he’s tried. No complaints. He just walked through the door and we’re already planning our order for tonight.

Leo and Iggy had both offered the premade Gluten Free pizza that was about the same as most other places but one of the current owners has a gluten allergy / Celiac so she has added many gluten free menu items that are so good, they taste and feel like regular flour ingredients. Anyone who suffers from gluten intolerance knows how difficult it is to find decent food that doesn’t make you sick. While each person will have a different level of sensitivity, I haven’t experienced and bad reactions so far. I try to order their GF Sicilian style or cheesy bread sticks at least once a week and occasionally will get a GF chicken parm with pasta. They just added GF meatballs and so I tried them with ziti and it was great.

This is the best gluten free pizza you can get locally. Got the large square pie nonna style and it was so good. My husband who is not gluten free agreed that the crust was great too. It’s so nice to have a gluten free crust that has good flavor and isn’t cracker thin. Thank you for making great gluten free food. Can’t wait to try more!

If a 0 star review could be possible, iggy’s would have it. Paper thin pizza, tastes what you would think cardboard would taste like, AND you don’t get your whole order. Having to call 3 times about an order and all the people working there gaslighting you into thinking paper thin is what ALL of their pizzas are like. They clearly didnt listen when i said I’ve ordered from them multiple times and the owner even personally delivered my pizza because it’s not on the menu and asked me to spread the word..
If a 4 year old and 2 year old won’t even eat the pizza clearly you need to reflect on something.

Absolutely incredible. I’ve gone here about 5-6 times now, and every single time it’s perfect. The prices are good, the people working the shop are very friendly, they get the orders out quickly, and accurately every time.
The food is amazing too, I’ve had pizza every time I’ve ordered and the pizza is just perfect. The wings are great, and I recently had their Buffalo chicken egg rolls with the cheese sauce, and my life will never be the same. The cheese sauce was perfect, and the egg rolls were amazing. What a wonderful thing. Definitely worth a trip.

We love Iggy’s pizza! Great pizzas, salads and so much more. The sauce and the crust on the Nonna pie and is amazing. The Sicilian pie is also a family favorite. We love that they offer vegan cheese as an option too. Our orders are always fresh, hot, on time, and delicious.
