Service was okay, they did take forever to serve, even when they are not busy they will be a wait time for your food. They do cook on the spot. The aguas frescas were decente. The food was okay. The presentation was good unfortunately the food hours later made my stomach hurt and got very bloated not sure if the quality of the meat or the seasoning. Their rice was not good and we got frijoles charros, they hard had any beans it was more broth. Unfortunately not coming back.

Been here a number of times since they’ve opened and it’s hits every single time. I’ve only had their 3 taco plate with asada and I add cheese, which gives me an extra boost of flavor. They give you a side of charro beans with the tacos that are delicious! Every time I come, there is a long line out the door so be prepared to wait. It’s worth it though so if you’re patient, you’ll be fine.

Really delicious food options, prices and portions are good. Ordered a carne asada torta and it was delicious. Very small dining area for the amount of customers I did noticed many of them just order to go since is hard to find an empty table.

We ate like kings. Please don’t confuse this place with La Michoacana groceries. My son Nick and I spend time together on Saturdays. We have ate here several times already and have always left very satisfied customers. I look for clean place with happy people working to please my pallet. Tacos de carnitas, barbacoa and carne asada have always been my sinful obsession. Menudo also an awesome dish served here. No maize, hominy was my served, I miss the hominy. My parents both from Michoacan and I am puzzled why some places don’t serve maize. Look this savory menudo still works. Your dish is served with a cup of whole beans with bacon and sausage, it’s very delicious. OVERALL, my tacos had plenty of meat which made this meal a major satisfaction, My brother Joe from San Antonio requested two more tacos of carne asada. Joe is a very picky eater. Be ready to be surprised.

At last I finally got to try El Michoacano! I’ve been wanting to try the old location as I’ve heard great things about them. Around the time they closed (to relocate), two other of my favorite taquerias permanently closed and I was all disappointed.
Until early this week, I got a reply saying the new El Michoacano is now open. I came Saturday evening and noticed that it’s not a big place, but seeing customers lined up at the door I figured it’s got to be good. I got me an order of Tacobirrias along with a melon agua fresca and I am totally impressed!!! The melon agua fresca was really good, and the birria tacos have got to be The Best I’ve ever had in Garland, Mesquite and Forney combined! Everything about the taste of each taco was pure goodness and made with the freshest ingredients! Now I know where to come for the best quality of birria tacos! Thank You!

This place was so good. When I walked in and realized I was the only gringo in the place made me feel as though this was going to be good. The place was packed, every table full and when I got my food I realized why. Wonderful staff, great food, very clean. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great value.

The menudo is really bad; it tastes too much like cloves and the meat smells off. The drinks are good, but I think the price is excessive—$5 for a glass is too much in my opinion. The carnitas are tasty, but they need more salt.
