Good tasting authentic Mexican food at a fair price. I ordered the Mexican shrimp and vegetarian nachos. The Mexican shrimp platter was delicious. A bit spicy but not overly spicy. It came with rice and beans, a few slices of white cheese and avocado I ordered the food for takeout and it was ready in about 20 minutes. For those that want to dine in expect locals, loud talking, and music and the area outside of the store is a bit rough just as an FYI. Overall I will be coming back to this restaurant for more yummy food.

Was coming here regularly getting the same thing every time and the Mexican tacos are listed $7 dollars got them with corn tortillas as always and they charged us $15 dollars for 2 plates of tacos because of the corn tortillas, said something and the owners said oh well tough luck basically. Really disappointed because the food is so good but won’t be going back after that.

They serve plenty of food but not as tasty as other Mexican Restaurants I’ve visited. I asked for the Carnita Tacos and usually they are shredded meat in other places, but here are meat cuts with barely any flavor. I loved the Flautas hence the 3 Stars.

Very good food. The waitress is very friendly and working very hard. It is BYOB. Been many times at this point so I have a very good overall idea and opinion of this place and is always very good. Always a clean, and nice experience.

Location is out of the way in a mixed residential & commercial neighborhood in Freehold Boro. But don’t worry, there is ample parking! Ladies, break out the ole maturity pants (sweatpants for the gents), brush up on yer Spanish (no English here, sorry) and run over to El Molcajete!!! Get the Birria Tacos (Beef tacos side of cilantro, onion, and consome), or else!!!
