Food was really good. Great value to have the $16 cooked to order buffet on a weeknight. We thought the portions would be small, and then we’d have to wait for a while for the next course. Nope. They gave us such generous portions, that we didn’t even need to have a second helping.
Lots of parking was nice, too, as we were driving an RV. The kicker though, was the service. Both Maddie, our server, as well as the manager, (whose name I missed) went out of their way to make us feel at home. Good service can make up for certain hospitality shortcomings, but fortunately for Fat Baby’s they have little that needs making up for.

We ate here with my daughter’s godparents, their two daughters, and parents on a Sunday. We got a table quickly, and the food was good, but for the first time in a while, the service was not great. My daughter knocked a cup on to the floor, and it took the waitress a long while before putting a yellow caution sign on it after being flagged down immediately after the incident. And then one of the girls did not receive the fries she ordered until half way through the meal. There was no explanation offered. I enjoy this restaurant a lot, but I was disappointed in the service on this particular day.

Horrible waiter… food was cold when I finally got it. I’ve been here plenty of times in the past. Haven’t been in a year and I’ve never had service this bad. The worse part is that the waiter acted as if we were bothering her by asking for food that we never got but ordered. Hair was in the fries and we never got another order!! Lol… so sad. Very disappointed because I never complain but this is VERY disappointing.

The food is great, but you have to wait like 2 hours to get it. If you order the buffet, the waiter will only bring you that one portion of food and if you ask for some more it will take you forever to get it. I swear to God I waited 45 to 1 hour for 4 chicken tenders

We stopped there on a Sunday after church and had the smoked chicken. It was dry, the sides were not hot. The server did not check on us. The dessert was supposed to come with the meal, she never asked if we wanted any or not. Won’t go back.

We saw this place on the side of the road and decided to do a U-turn to get back to it, and we weren’t disappointed! We had a great meal here of catfish and pork chops and the salad was pretty good too. The staff were all very friendly and out waitress was lovely and very helpful!!
