We were blown away by how much we enjoyed it. We chose the place because of their vegan options (which I’d advise they print vegan menus). But the building itself was really cool because it was built in the 1890s. The service was top notch. The food was really good. And it had really relaxing live music. Great stuff. I might also advise putting that the restaurant is in the winery in the title. We got a bit lost when trying to find it initially.

Went in Saturday night. I’d been into the Warner BrewHaus a few times since Paw Paw Pizza Co had opened so I thought it was time to actually give it a try.

In short the food was phenomenal. We ordered the Baked Spinach and Artichoke Dip as an appetizer, and shared the Bourbon Pork Belly Burnt Ends sandwich as well as the Smoked Brisket pizza. I’ve attached some pics taken on my needs-upgraded phone, so apologies if they’re a little grainy.

For the dip, you would think with all of the cheese listed in the ingredients that it would be overwhelmingly rich, but they balanced the cheese blend with the artichoke and spinach really well, and the seasoning was fantastic. No pic of this, because we ate half before I remembered I was gonna take pictures.

The pork belly was so good that I seriously considered ordering one to go. The choice of bread on the sandwich was perfect to hold it all together, and the jalapeno haystack and red onions were a nice flavor pairing with the BBQ sauce. Even the chips were good. I’m not sure if they fry them in house or they just buy a really good brand, but I’ve never been more impressed by a plain, wavy potato chip.

Now for the pizza. I’m not a big fan of blue cheese personally, but when paired with the brisket and Tripping Billies sauce, I loved it. The brisket was beautifully cooked, and the funk of the blue cheese worked well with the sweet and spicy drizzle on top. My friend liked the pizza as is, but I’d probably request a side of the sauce to put some extra goodness on top.

I’ll definitely be going back to sample some of the other items on the menu, especially the pizzas. Even with such bold flavors on the one we tried, the pizza crust itself was noticeably tasty. Grill marks on the bottom from cooking, and a really good chew.

I heard from the chef that they just started serving pizza by the slice and wings at the Warner Tasting Room in South Haven, so I’m looking forward to having that as an option the next time I’m out that way.

10/10, and I will absolutely be stopping in again.

Nice place, wonderful to have a full vegan- friendly menu, but the service was poor. The waiter was friendly, but the whole venue was understaffed and it took 45min to get a beer and 1h20 to get an appetizer, despite best efforts to get service. On a Friday night at 6:15-8h30 this is quite surprising. The waiter was calm but could have expressed a little more concern over his job and customers. The vegan menu was nice but the beer cheese could use an improved recipe. Same for the Mac ‘n cheese. Recommended, but not if you’re in a rush.

Awesome experience! Food was fantastic as well as the atmosphere! Had the baked goat cheese, which was out of this world! Then I shared with my wife the artichoke/olive specialty pizza with balsamic – awesome! Also had the bourbon bbq burger and again this too was excellent! We also had to partake in the wine and beer flights and those too were great! 10+ stars out of 10!

Fantastic vegan comfort food. Great flavors and nice service in a fun setting. The vegan cheese they’re using for their pizzas has an incredible melt – the best I’ve seen. Well worth a drive.

In town for work and wanted pizza for dinner. Ordered the build your own with 3 toppings. Gotta say, it was very good! I would most definitely order again when I’m back in town. Perhaps I’ll try one of their burgers, with a beer, at the bar next time. Nice owner, very friendly and easy to chat with. Bonus that he gave me a free brat! It was very delicious, thanks!

Had the Paradise burger and it was great. But you have to start with the pretzel bites with the beer cheese dip. Great atmosphere at the Warner House, going back to see a band one day and try the pulled pork sandwich.

Paw Paw Pizza Co doesn’t disappoint at all! The food was super good and is the best pizza in the area outside of the Chicagoland area. Definitely a place to stop and enjoy good food and drinks.
