I wanna first start on by saying that when we entered the establishment, nobody acknowledged us. There was no customer service. There were two workers behind preparing food with no hairnet one lady head on no gloves. I should’ve left them, but I was trying to give a black establishment, a good chance as a black woman. My husband are there for just a short period of time kind of driving through and decided to get some barbecue. Look them up seeing that I was a black establishment and we wanted to support it but like I said when we got there, nobody acknowledge us and there was not really any good customer service. This was October 9, 2025 by the way. We ate outside and I wanted to say I pay $36 for the amount of food that could be put in a little 9 x 9 foam container. Kinda had a funny taste. We thought it was just the seasoning that was off, but we did find out later why it taste so funny and that was more than likely because it may have been old or not stored properly, but my husband and I both Had some stomach issues following this meal. So if you ate there on Thursday, October 9, and you had some stomach issues and you had the pulled pork Gorgio’s was more than likely the culprit. All around I wanna give the food a whopping one star the cabbage taste just like cabbage, and it was overcooked cause it was falling apart the candy yams taste just like sweet potatoes with sugar no other seasonings no other anything. The pulled pork taste it kind of funny I just assume that it was season funny and now that it was old until later I found out it was more than likely old or not stored properly we didn’t smell any smoke anywhere while we were there. A guy pulled some meat off the grill. I didn’t smell any smoke. The meat couldn’t have been hot because he had his hand under the pain the whole time so I’m not for sure how long that meat was on the grill before it was taken off so I would not Suggest anybody go to this establishment. I will give it a zero out of five.

First time disappointed. Gave me some ribs that been sitting out. They had that hard coat like it’s been sitting out. Not even good this time. I was lowkey pissed like come on! Still got it. Don’t even want to finish it because it’s disrespectful to do the man’s company like that. Everytime I see him, I don’t have these issues. Idk who was at the cashier telling me not to order online and just come in but is this why my ribs was like that? Smdh.

Ordered the Beef Brisket Dinner, and the to go service was quick. The staff behind the counter were working efficiently to get orders out. The portions are generous. The beef brisket was freshly cooked and of great quality along with the beans and potato salad. Nothing lacked in flavor. Will definitely return.

Ive been here a couple of times, and its become my favorite in Wichita!
Its a nice hole in the wall, just west of WSU.
I usually go around the 5:30-6pm time frame, and its always easy in and out.
Take Note: this is a small business, and they close at 6:30, so if you go late, you can’t expect everything to be available. They do a phenomenal job, and the art of BBQ is something that takes time, and the limits of availability are what give Georgio’s its exclusivity.
I’ve gotten almost all of the main items. Everything is solid. 5 stars all around.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ. Pulled pork was juicy, hot links were just the right level of spice, and the ribs just melted in my mouth. The Sampler came with 2 ribs, 2 pieces of chicken, 2 hot links, 2 sides and your choice of either brisket or Pulled pork. Great food, great workers, great BBQ. Do yourself a favor and go there now!
