absolutely AMAZING our server was super smart and explained all of the types of sushi and where they are from. me and my dad ordered the “trust the chef” and it did not disappoint. we ended up ordering it 3 times and it hit the spot every time. all the fish were superrrrr fresh, some of the best i’ve ever had. the sake was also divine, very good dinner thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wow! Sushi this good in a mountain town is hard to come by. I can not recommend this spot enough! Executive chef Paul is incredible, kind, and so knowledgeable. The food is so delicious, fresh, and unique in flavor. I can’t recommend the chefs choice enough- but the rolls are fantastic too. I can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time! One of the best experiences we’ve had in recent history. The service was amazing from the owner to his team. We sat at the sushi bar and had so much fun! Fresh sushi and delicious dishes. A must visit when here!

Overall a solid sushi restaurant, definitely cater to a little bit more high-end tastes and you can tell that when you walk in. They a boast and pride themselves in having fresh fish, which is obviously hard to do in a mountain town. I do think the fish was fresh and overall the maki that we had was pretty good. Good customer service, as the staff will help you identify things that will suit you. I’ve had a lot of great sushi in my life, so hard to say best-ever, but great for in the middle of Colorado! I would recommend visiting here.

Amazing sushi. We sushi all over the world and this was one of the best experiences. Very quaint, small, relaxed atmosphere. The chef and service are amazing. Amazingly fresh and sophisticated menu. By far best dining experience in Crested Butte.

What a beautiful experience! We came here from San Antonio, Tx. It was a last minute decision to go to Yukihana and we are so happy we came! We had the Elk Avenue, The surf and turf, the miso, and the cucumber salad and they were all so delicious! The surf and turfs flavor was just perfection! To top everything off the staff was very sweet and inviting! Chef Paul even came to our table and was so sweet to us and my son and even gave him a hug! I cannot say enough about this place! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

We went two nights in a row! I would have went 3 times while we were in town if it weren’t for us leaving and if we had discovered this gem earlier in the trip. I don’t think anything else needs to be said but to elaborate; Kyle, William, Santiago, Chef, and Shawn will all take the best care of you and you will be well fed with amazing food! Either let them provide you with an experience or you must have the nigiri, fresh made wasabi, their soy sauce they make, any maki role, sake, and cocktails. I would even close my eyes and point when it comes to this menu, place, and people. I will go here every time I am back in Crested Butte and maybe 2/3 times each trip.

We had an absolutely lovely experience at Yukihana. From the moment we arrived for our reservation at the sushi bar, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between relaxed CB casual and elevated — ideal for a celebratory night out.
Service was truly immaculate, some of the best we’ve experienced in the valley. Will took excellent care of us throughout the evening, offering thoughtful guidance on both beverages and dinner selections. His knowledge and attentiveness elevated the experience, helping craft our dinner experience and relieving us from decision paralysis.
As for the food — every dish was a standout. The fish was incredibly fresh, and each piece of sushi was expertly prepared and presented. You can tell there’s a deep respect for quality ingredients and technique here, with a creative touch that keeps things exciting. Thankful for Chef Paul and Chef Shawn for a delicious evening and their humble, graceful hospitality.
Yukihana is a true gem in CB. We’re already planning our next visit.
