This place is getting nicer and nicer each time I go in! The the menu selection is over the top. Too many great things to choose from. I don’t know what they’ve done to the potato cakes, but they are fabulous… There’s some type of chive cream cheese in there. Their omelettes are awesome the crêpes and the eggs Benedict… good luck figuring out which one you want.

It’s “a happening place” was my first impression entering this establishment. There were two families waiting to be seated, and the place was packed at about 11:20 on Sunday. It was our first time dining here, and we certainly found a gem in Collegeville.
Food tasted very well–made with fresh ingredients, and portions were generous (photos). Our wait time was minimal even though it was very busy. I liked my Breakfast Burrito, and my wife enjoyed her House Omelette with hash browns. Two thumbs up!
Service was fair–our server was attentive and efficient. I noticed one of the owners (I later found out) appeared very friendly and chatting away with two sets of customers (perhaps her friends/regulars) next to us at the counter, but she didn’t bother talking with us. I felt it was a little awkward.
I’ll be back here for more good food for sure. The menu looked very enticing. The price ranges from $10 to $20. Highly recommended. Oh, there’s 3%(?) service charge if you use a credit card to pay.

Clean, spacious local restaurant with a nice selection of items, some of which you won’t find other places (e.g. Mai’s Thai omelet…pictured). One of my breakfast favs is biscuits & gravy and this place has some pf the best around. In general, the found was both flavorful and very fresh tasting…no microwave reheats here. Of note: the Perkiomen Trail runs right behind this place so it’s a convenient stop if you’re walking.

We used to really like it here. But, somewhere along the way, the guy at the cash register who seats people became somewhat surly and stopped smiling. He has not been very accommodating and we have gone there a lot. My Mom typically comes with us, and yes, she is old. However, you should not insist she walks to the back of a crowded restaurant. You should not be rude when we ask to sit at the side table so she doesn’t fall. The wait staff is efficient, the food is good for a breakfast and lunch place, but it is loud and somewhat crowded when it is full. We tip very well and are pretty easy customers. We’ve been in the business so we understand it is not easy sometimes. But, arrogance should not be the first person who greets us at the door. We won’t be back.

Food is great, we love coming to chows but today we stopped in to get a cup of soup at 1 pm and was rudely informed by the host that they close at 1:30 and they could only do take out. We had no issue with getting take out but the host was very rude.
This is not the first time that this host has been rude when we’ve been there.

I have been a regular customer at Chow’s. Food has always been great but I was disappointed with the customer service today. I ordered an omelette and didn’t realize that there is sausage in it. When I received the order, I realized that I had made a mistake and went back, apologized and asked if my order could be exchanged to which they plainly refused. Being a regular customer it was disappointing and probably the reason I won’t be going back again. I had hoped to be accommodated.

High quality tasty food at surprisingly reasonable prices. Wife and I just had a nice lunch there and I paid less than $40 (including a $6 tip) which almost never happens these days.
