I visited with the highest of expectations and this place exceeded them. I have been told I have unrealistic expectations when it comes to food, but that’s because I know amazing places like Mave’s exist. I grew up in New Jersey, so I know good pizza and Mave’s pizza is top tier. The crust is pillowy soft with a bit of a crispy edge to it. If you like a crispier pizza, I would suggest getting it well done.
The owner is super friendly and made sure our experience was a memorable one. It is absolutely worth driving for if you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant with truly spectacular food. If they made the dining room larger and further away from the kitchen, that’s the only factor that held them back in the atmosphere department. You won’t find a better pizza in Massachusetts or New Hampshire.

Make sure you eat your food while it is hot and fresh. Since they use high quality ingredients, items decline rapidly in quality as they sit in bags/boxes. I ate my food hot and fresh in the restaurant the first time I ordered and it was much better than my second visit when I ate it after a 30 minute drive home. I will never make that mistake again. The owners are the sweetest people and will make you feel right at home, so don’t be a stranger and dine in with them.

My husband and I stumbled upon Mave’s Kitchen a few months ago, and I honestly can’t believe we didn’t find it sooner. We’ve been back almost every week since for takeout and everything we’ve ordered has been absolutely amazing. The portions are huge, the food is consistently delicious, and you can really tell everything is homemade.
We usually order pasta dishes and then try a different appetizer or calzone each time, and we haven’t had a single miss. Even the apps are a great size and the “small” calzone is always absolutely stuffed. The food is always still piping hot by the time we get home, which is such a bonus for takeout.
Maria is also incredible. She always remembers our names, double-checks our order, and is genuinely so kind and welcoming—it really makes the experience even better.
If you’re looking for amazing homemade Italian food with generous portions and friendly service, Mave’s Kitchen is a must.

It’s hard to please my husband and he said this pizza is up there with some of the best pizzas in New Jersey. I got the Italian antipasto and was shocked to see the dressing was homemade! Very fresh, very yummy. Our food was brought to our table for us. The owner was quick to notice when our tap water cups were empty, and got us a refill. The dining room is small, but cozy. They have a hefty healthy goldfish named Sebastian. His tank is the perfect size and he’s a tough little fellow who ain’t afraid of nuthin’. His river rocks are impressively clean, so clearly he has standards. We love this place and miss it as soon as well leave the parking lot. “I should’ve gotten more cookies…” We never learn. Best food in New Hampshire, hands down. They’ve easily become our friends<3

Delicious food with elegant presentation. Ordered catering for a work and family event. Victor and Maria were highly accommodating to my food requests and preferences. Included selections for gluten/dairy free. Something delicious for all with plenty of leftovers for participant take home. They also provided delivery further adding to ease of hosting. This is a hidden gem along 3A in Tynsboro. We found it on Google map while another restaurant down the road was crowded. Initially we thought it’s takeout only but they do have 3 tables for four so we decided to dine in.
I had the shrimp scampi. The fresh shrimps were large and plump, the sauce with fresh limon was tasty and refreshing. Wife had the steak tips with rice and veggies. The tips were well marinaded and grilled nicely. My son had the chicken parm pasta. He doesn’t like write essays but he gave me a full review of how good the dish was while we drove home using words like “tender and juicy chicken, gooey cheese, and flavorful marinara sauce”. My daughter had the adult size meatball pasta and she almost finished the whole thing.
We also ordered onion ring. For $4.95, it was not just a handful of rings, but a whole onion shoe stringed, battered and fried to golden crispy. We finished it without a single drop of ketchup.
The owners are hard working people and very conversational too.

Mave’s kitchen has genuinely one of the best chicken Caesar wraps I have ever had. The dressing, chicken, and lettuce were so fresh. The prices are incredibly reasonable and there are lots of great menu options. The pizza was also fresh and tasty. I had the pleasure of meeting Maria and she is such an amazing person. There is some outdoor seating as well. Would definitely recommend if you want a good pizza or Italian food for lunch or dinner. I will be definitely visiting again.

Had our first visit to Maves Kitchen and it won’t be our last! The staff was super friendly, checked in on us often, and the food was delicious! Kids chicken fingers, kids cheese pizza, the fried pickles and a Chipotle Chicken sub (not pictured because we devoured it before I took one) was excellent. Everything had a lot more flavor than your typical sub shop, which I loved. The kids voted it a 5 out of 5 and getting both kids to like the same place is a win in my book!
