I tried the chicken parm sub. It is really good. The apple cider donuts were incredible. Everything was freshly made. Would recommend ordering ahead to avoid wait time. Highly recommend the places for some comfort food ❤️

I’d love to see just how good this food is fresh from the kitchen, but it’s a tiny spot that only does takeout and delivery orders. I was at a hotel in Mahwah and picked up a bucha food. It was all really good, despite having that to-go, sitting-in-a-container-for-the-20-minute-drive-home quality to it.
$18 is pretty insane for a burger without a side, just have to say. Still, the food is super good and they have an entire gluten-free section if you’re looking for that. The mashed potato bowls and empanadas are a must.

Great food, great service. My favorites from my most recent visit are the BBQ Chik’n Mac and Cheese and the Sweet Heat Chili Over Rice, for which the cornbread is the perfect accompaniment.
Lots of GF options too.
Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu

We ordered via Uber-eats, therefore I cannot rate service not atmosphere.
To Beginn with, i would actually rate the food 3,5 but since there is no half, i rounded it up to 4.
Food:
Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Empanadas (3x Spinach and 3X Cheesesteak) Mac N Cheese and Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese.
Pizza:
Taste was good but the pizza base was too crunchy and not at all soft.
Mac n Cheese was alright, but dry; but the buffalo chicken version made it a little more juicy and therefor more tasteful. I would definitely recommend the buffalo chicken version over the regular one.
The empanadas were also alright.
Unfortunately we did not try the Philly cheesesteaks that our friends ordered and were drooling over, perhaps this could be nice as well. (Maybe next time!)
Long story short, love the concept of a vegan fast food place and will therefor recommend it.
Enjoy the pictures and videos.

We finally got to check this place out when in the area for a book signing. OMG… EVERYTHING was so delicious. It’s all slightly under-seasoned, which is typical of restaurants to remain more neutral, but easily remedied. I was just beyond thankful for all the gluten-free options and versions of the non-gf offerings. I had the gluten-free Country Fried Chick’n, w White Gravy Bowl, Chick’n Parm Hero, and Buffalo Chik’n Mac n Cheese. All of them were SO good and well-made. The sandwich needed no seasoning, but the white gravy was lacking salt and pepper and the mac n cheese was a bit dry and needed more buffalo sauce. Thankfully, I had some extra cheese sauce and buffalo sauce at home. I may have to buy extra cheese sauce from there next time we order. All of the flavors I wanted were there, overall. My husband had the regular versions of the Sausage, Peppers & Onions Hero, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Hero w mustard, Cheesesteak Empanadas, and Corn Bread. He couldn’t say enough good things about the sausage sandwiches and declared them the best he’s had post AND pre-vegan! He loved the empanadas so much he’s going to grab a cheesesteak sub next time. He described the cornbread as fluffy, flavorful, and one of the best he’s had. He sliced it in half and topped it with some chili the next day. It took us a few days to get through it all, but it was so worth the big order. I wish there was some tables so you could enjoy it hot and fresh, but it was a nice night and we got some air as we ate outside. The owner was very kind and obviously puts a lot of love and effort into his food. It’s 45 minutes away without traffic, but we’ll definitely make this a destination from time to time. Absolutely worth it!

First of all, I am not a vegetarian, although I appreciate the dedication of those who are. That being said, I don’t just judge this place based upon that they are vegetarian. I’ve been to quite a few veggie places, some of which were modestly “eh”.
Having said that, this place was really good. It’s purely take out as it’s a small place, though the counter area is amazingly clean and inviting. I ordered a chicken parm which was phenomenal. I would put this above most any chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had, veggie or not. You can tell the ingredients and preparation are of high quality. And it was a good portion too.
I spoke to the owner, Kurt, who was quite the gentleman and runs a great small operation.
This place is a gem. I would recommend Freakin Vegan to both vegans and carnivores alike.

I have been wanting to try this spot for so long and I finally got the chance. I called in my order of the chic’ken cutlet sandwich and yes it’s 100% vegan. When I arrived I parked locally on the street. I walked in and a man that was cutting up food asked if he could help. I told him my name and he said a few more minutes. My food came out about 3 minutes later. I paid a little over $17 and left. When I got home I dug in. The sandwich was huge. It had a good taste to it as well. I definitely would like to try more things at this restaurant.

Tried their broccoli and cheddar empanadas, buffalo chicken Mac & cheese and pulled pork sliders at VegFest. The max & cheese is very good and creamy and great with the buffalo chicken- couldn’t tell it was vegan. I liked the empanada dough. The pulled pork sliders were a little on the sweet slide but also good.
