The green chile apple pie was phenomenal the crust was sooo good. The lady (owner?) working there was friendly and the place was cute. Laid back atmosphere and decent music even if it was country. Had an excellent time.

Great Pies, usually fresh out of the oven (still warm.) Other menu items are good too. Fast, friendly service. Amusing decor. Big tables, with community seating encouraged. They also sell books by local authors. I always stop here whenever I’m passing east or west on Route 60.

Home made Apple pie tasted amazing. It’s a one-room restaurant. Only one open Sunday morning. Cool decor and friendly. I was greeted immediately once I entered the door. Lots of thru hikers. Prices were a little higher than the diners in the surrounding towns.

Skip the other joint and come here!
Not only does this place sell homemade pies, but you can fill up on a burger made with local beef and fresh cut potatoe fries!
I saw a recommendation for the green chile apple pie, and I got the last one! They sell small individual size pies for $14. I also scored a berry crumble top.
Although I didn’t, I saw a video that indicated free camping. So, if that’s something you’re interested in, ask the locals for details.

Awesome owners. Sat and talked with the guy for like an hour. New Mexico apple pie was the bomb! All the flavors come together really well. Awesome service too, always had a full cup of coffee. Gotta have pie in pie town!

Amazing pies, sandwiches, and more! We stopped here on our way back from the Grand Canyon, and I am sure glad that we did. Friendly folks, homey atmosphere, and absolutely delicious pies. Special recommendation for the lemon blueberry and the New Mexico apple, as well as the pastrami Ruben sandwich. And the fantastic onion rings! Drop in if you are anywhere in the neighborhood. You’ll be glad you did!

Loooove this place. Little stop off the highway that has a good selection of affordable and delicious food. The chicken chipotle wrap and chili and cornbread were both excellent. We also got pie, being that we were in Pie Town! We got the NM apple pie, which had green chilies and pine nuts. It was incredibly surprising and very delicious. We wish we had bought a whole pie! Definitely stop and have lunch and pie if you’re driving through.

This is an absolute must if you are in the area. Star was amazing to talk with and gave us some great information about the area. This place is on the Continental Divide Trail, so there are people from all over the world who have visited this here. The food was great. We had a variety of items. All were good, but the stars of the show were these two pies.
