The look of this place outside has a uninviting that needs a more welcoming new look. But the inside smells so good. But the sizing of food is not worth the money. We visited twice and the ice cream for a small was the same size a baby cone. Which was very small. So it’s not a place I would go again. Note – Please Give the Customers Receipts!

Stopped in for a banana split and a hot fudge sundae. This place is so clean and cheerful. Service was great and everyone is so friendly. Lots of food items to check out next time we are in the area.

We stopped by for ice cream and were pleased with what we got. My daughter and I got baby sundaes, and they were the perfect size. They have a good-sized lunch menu as well, from what I could see.

First off, let me say that the employees were very nice people!

For a cheat meal one day, I decided to order a banana split, to which I was very pleasantly surprised! It was certainly more than I expected, and excellent, not to mention great value!

I then ordered a turkey club for $4.50, and was expecting good value for that as well, only to be disappointed. While it was very cheaply made, it still wasn’t bad. It turned out to be nothing special on 2 small buttered pieces of toast–poor value for something $4.50–not even a side dish.

Overall, they have a lot going for them. They have nice employees, a wide selection, and good food for the most part.

My advice to you would just be to make sure you are getting your money’s worth. If not, see if you could work out getting an extra side dish or something to make sure you have the best experience possible.

One of the best, if not the very best, ice cream stands in Juniata County, and the only one with indoor seating. The new owners, Dave and Annette, made drastic improvements to the interior decor and table seating. A surprising large food menu at reasonable, competitive prices. I especially enjoy the shrimp, clams, chicken, and hoagies (cheese), not to mention the ice cream and sundaes. The very friendly staff strives for consistency in their food preparation which is greatly appreciated by me. An added extra are the barbeque offerings of brisket and pork sandwiches on several Saturdays after closure in the Fall. Both are simply delicious! I would highly recommend you give the place a try.

I used to love Jack’s Drive-In but now everything is so different there and the prices are ridiculous for some things not all things but I guess that is the way things are due to the economy. However I wish they would bring back the old rolls for The Cheesesteak Hoagies because the new ones are just not the same at all and they’ve had the same rolls since Jack’s Drive-In opened up until now… it makes the cheese steak Hoagie tastes completely different and not in a way that I really care for
