My wife and I had the MOST EXCELLENT dinner this evening at this restaurant in Pullman Saigon Centre – Food Connexion – and it was a Vietnamese and Western seafood-centric dinner buffet. When we walked into the restaurant, we were very impressed by the various food stations’ display – they looked positively inviting and yummy (see the photos herein). Everything seemed and was fresh – freshly prepared and perfectly prepared. And the service here was simply OUTSTANDING – especially from the following ladies: Xuan, Vi, Tram and Anh, who very friendly, courteous, attentive and helpful. The dining ambience here was also very, very good. The dining spaces were ample and super comfortable. And apart from the buffet selections, the ala carte selections that came with the dinner buffet package were fantastic – my wife and I especially love the Lobster Thermidor. However, this dinner buffet is (according to the restaurant) available only from Friday to Sunday. So, if you are looking for a MOST EXCELLENT dinner buffet, I highly recommend Food Connexion at Pullman Saigon Centre.

The food is consistently superb and very enjoyable. The breakfast menu is incredibly varied, thoughtfully catering to diverse international guests (my experience has been fantastic since June 2025). You get everything from perfectly cooked eggs and delicious smoked duck to noodles, rice dishes, vietnamese Pho, fruit and everything.
The atmosphere is bright and pleasant, making it a great start to the day.
The service is the highlight—the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Food Connexion is such a great place. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and professional. The food is amazing from start to finish. The Vietnamese salted cream coffee is a must try, rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced between salty and sweet. The pastries are just as impressive, fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. Every part of the buffet tastes thoughtful and well made. One of the waitresses, Tram, was especially polite and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere.

Found out about Pullman’s Seafood buffet by chance through HSBC’s 40% discount promo.
As we usually have a seafood buffet in another hotel we were quite interested to see Pullman’s approach to it.
We were definitely not disappointed with our choice. Delicious seafood indeed, perfect carving station, and alright wine to pair throughout the dinner.
Asked for more garlic to be put on our lobsters, and they kindly did. Upon closing time at 22;00, they were also so kind to let us finish our drinks and keep talking for an extra half hour.
The staff were truly accomodating towards us and the other guests.
