Their breakfast is amazing. We wish we would have gotten to go more than once. You are able to get the buffet or order off the menu. We prefer the buffet. What a lovely spread that included, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, and omelet station, danishes, cereal. They have something for everyone.
Definitely would revisit if we ever stayed in the hotel again.
If you’re having doubts whether to go. Don’t. Just go…

Great atmosphere and really courteous and polite staff. Everything looked so good, but My Wife and I weren’t extremely hungry, so We just ended up splitting a breakfast. If ever in the Barton area, We highly recommend trying this place.

I went to this great Hotel the last week and I loved the food and the atmosphere of this place, but I was very disappointed by the kind of people they allow to serve customers. I could smell alcohol coming from the server assigned to my table. I remember her name (Carrie) because I had to ask her for a cappuccino twice, and she seemed lost and in a bad mood.
On top of that, the woman who brought our food had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. They made a mistake with my order, and when I asked for it to be corrected, she gave me a bad look. When she brought the correct dish, she literally slammed it on the table.
Unfortunately, I don’t forget the names of people who do not deserve to work in customer service at such a beautiful and important hotel. Sadly, this was my first time visiting as a guest, and I experienced this discomfort because of Ingrid and Carrie. I definitely would not return.

The pancakes stole the show! Fluffy and sweet. Big portions ! Great for kids too. Sit by the windows and enjoy the view! They served fresh juices.
Our server was amazing!

Well, fine for the resort but food is missing a little bit of love, while coffee was tasteless or had weird premises. Still reasonable price and place to kickstart the day, but find alternative for coffee. Waiters definitely had bad day, majorly confused.

I’m writing this review while waiting on my drink, which has been about 20 minutes. I ordered a Bloody Mary, but I guess I’m not getting my drink.
Fun fact: I’ve seen my waitress only two times. Once to put in my order and another time to get the bill. The service was horrific, so I was thinking maybe the food will be better. Well you’re wrong. We shared an order of the brisket tacos. The only good part about the dish was the eggs, and that was mediocre at best. It reminded me of the powdered eggs one is served at a Best Western or Travelodge. I thought I was staying at a 5 ⭐️ resort. The brisket was as dry as the Sahara desert, and I couldn’t even eat it, as evident in my picture. No flavor. I asked for hot sauce from another waiter, and never received the bottle, so I took action and went to the mini bar and served myself the hot sauce. I should’ve know better when staying at a resort not to eat at places like these. Learn from me y’all. Stay away for breakfast. I should’ve gone to a food truck to get better breakfast.

Hidden away in a hotel, this is a gem of breakfast buffets in Austin. Omelettes are amazing as well as the blueberry sausage – service and atmosphere was also really good. Only thing that wasn’t great were the pancakes.

As an Eggs Benedict connoisseur, it is typically a great representation of how good the restaurant is. Unequivocally, I just enjoyed the best Eggs Benedict of my life. Thick but soft English Muffin, perfectly crisp Canadian Bacon, expertly poached eggs with just the right amount of soft yolk and then the piece de resistance, the Hollandaise Sauce. The entire Benedict can be lost if this one component isn’t master crafted to bring the entire dish together. The Hollandaise sauce at Texas Spice has achieved that perfection. The lemon aftertaste came through to give the light fluffy topping a dish worthy of the most classically trained French chef. If you are in Austin and haven’t had the Eggs Benedict at Texas Spice, you haven’t experienced a culinary marvel you won’t find outside a 5 star restaurant in Paris.
