I appreciate you feeling like you needed to speak up for me. However I’m definitely not being harassed. Sarah is a fantastic manager very helpful and outstanding. There are certain things that I’ve personally asked Sarah to say to me when I’m in a moment when I have high anxiety. Downtown Subway is a fantastic place to work very helpful very understanding. Sarah loves to help customers and every person that comes through her building. She goes above and beyond at all times.

Sarah, the manager, was very rude to her coworker while I was ordering my sub. Her coworker asked a simple question and she responded with “you do know you’ve been here 8 months right?” She then proceeded to micromanage her and make little remarks towards her coworker loud enough for all customers to hear. It made me feel very uncomfortable and have second hand embarrassment for the coworker. I don’t care if you are having a bad day. If you are a manager, you should treat everyone, especially your workers, with respect. It is not a good look to be disrespectful towards them in general, but especially when everyone in the place can hear your rude comments. I could sense how timid the coworker was after probably being treated like that her entire shift. Sarah made it an uncomfortable purchasing and eating experience for everyone and this isn’t the first complaint I’ve heard about this specific manager.

I don’t leave reviews much but this subway stood out! I have a fish allergy, and tuna is a very well loved sub from subway, so as one does I mention it so they’re aware. Usually food places just change their gloves and call it a day, but not here! Sarah the manager literally offered to wipe the entire food surface for me because she was serving lots of tuna today, my mouth was on the floor. No one has ever had enough care to not only wipe down the food surface (like genuinely clean it) but also mentioned that the cheese I was going to pick was the cheese closest to the tuna meat. Sarah is a literal angel on this earth. Honerable mentions are Dustin, who was so sweet with checking me out and helping Sarah make sure everything was clean for my allergy, and literally the day before Louise was so awesome from sandwhich making to checkout. Subway give these folks a raise because I am over the moon with my experience.

Was completely unimpressed. Service was the worst I’ve ever experienced in a subway. The staff was more interested in closing the store an hour early, than actually helping guests. The food was not covered and the work station was anything but cleaned off. Staff was very rude and unwelcoming. Will definitely be more inclined to spend money anywhere but here next time visiting downtown.

Sarah the supervisor needs customer service training. mobile ordered and i got 80% through my sub when i found a dark hair. accused of being a liar by the supervisor saying “welll no one here has black hair?” – that alone is absurd, if a customer is complaining, an argument is never the way to go and that is common sense. then i’m told she has to call and see if i can get a refund because i cant return the sub I ate. come to find out from a coworker who was also there today that there was an employee with a dark colored beard and no net making subs, and when she called back i told her that and again, she argued saying “well he has red hair… and his beard is within standards.” the fact that she continued to argue with me is absurd. policy is policy, but have a little bit more tact with your customers. same thing when i ordered catering from this location a few months ago and was missing 5 boxes and was told “oh it was being covered by the clipboard” like that was a simple mistake and not the dumbest thing i’ve heard in a decade.

Hello, my public reviewers. When you come to downtown Muskegon, one of the great places to eat at is Subway. The food is GREAT! The staff is friendly, caring, patient, fast, and clean when preparing your food! The facility is also clean! So, come on down and enjoy!

I would’ve given a higher rating but me and my wife ordered a party platter a week in advance for my step daughters birthday party and when we went to pick it up it took over an hour for them to ring it up because they lost the order form. We were late setting up party because of this.

Staff are always kind, food is always spot on, quick service, and the lobby always looks clean. One thing I would do is have a tip jar up front. The employees provide a great service and deserve that recognition through tips.
