Mexican food restaurant that is family run.. grandma made my tacos!
Legit Mexican food that caters to the locals. Humble run down building, has numerous tables for indoor seating. Bring cash, no debit or credit.
My tacos were awesome and felt like authentic street tacos that I prefer. I enjoyed the green and red salsa that was served with my tacos. I’ll be back to try another dish soon!

When you see abuela in the kitchen, you know it’s going to be good. If the unassuming hole in the wall restaurant stereotype were to exist, this place would be it! Come check this place out! Seriously, one of the better burritos I’ve had outside of Mexico.

Near barrio Logan and I was actually on my way to a different Mexican place I picked from Google when I saw this one out of the corner of my eye. I was in the mood for a chicken burrito. Took time to make because the two very nice ladies working make everything to order. I can taste the pollo guisado is very home made. Good chicken flavor. Their salsa macha (red) is delicious and same with the green salsa.
Will be back
Very much recommend.

Great food and service! Very odd to see a restaurant in the residential area in the US but that really gives the ‘home cooked’ meal feel and there is literally an abuela making food for you in the kitchen.

Microwaved food, not fresh. If you go, make sure you take cash, otherwise they’ll make you go to the ATM at the Liquor store, which charges a $2.50 fee. If their credit card machine is working, THEY will charge you $1 fee per transaction, which they didn’t let me know beforehand. After I went to get cash at the liquor store, I asked to get my food to go instead, and the lady handed me the plate and said “can you put your food there, because I already served it on the other plate”. Service was awful and so was the food, the rolled tacos were stale on the edge but super soggy in the middle. While I was waiting for the food, I heard the microwave turn on. I was expecting something else from this place. Never again…
